"The food at this restaurant was excellent and the servers were great, but the host who seated us could definitely use more training in reading people. I was excited to try everything on the menu, but was surprised when the host suggested we sit at the bar even though the restaurant was empty. I ended up insisting on a table in the completely vacant section, ordering enough food for four people even though it was just my date and me. This initial interaction left a sour taste in my mouth, showing inconsistency in the business. However, the food and servers were fantastic. Perhaps they should consider having the servers handle the seating and initial interaction with guests, as they seemed to have a better grasp on customer service. The servers should also speak up to make up for any shortcomings from the host."
