"The restaurant was very busy, but the night staff handled the drive-thru orders impressively. Great job! Additionally, we had quite a show from the two cars in front of us that were filled with drunk customers."

"If you plan on coming with a big party don’t. It’s not the waiters fault but they only had one waiter for a room of 40 people. The thermostat was set to 80, we ordered parrilladas and brought the food out before the rice and the beans. Then we had to keep asking for tortillas multiple times. By the time they finally brought us the tortillas our food was cold. Again if your restaurant is not staffed to have a party of that size then don’t. The food was good, the waiter was nice but the poor guy was moving back and fourth so much that he would forget what people were asking for. Also, there was mold all over the vents and in the restrooms. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. What a disappointment."

"At first glance, it might seem like just another typical Mexican restaurant, but this place has become a must-visit during our vacation. We had a 7-year-old with us who usually sticks to simpler foods, but he enjoyed their classic cheeseburger and even ventured out of his comfort zone by trying guacamole and chicken fajitas for the first time—and he actually liked them! If you’ve dealt with picky eaters, you know how significant that is!"

"The restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and great service. Even though the kitchen was closing soon after we arrived, the staff was very accommodating. We enjoyed the dry herb seasoned wings, which were delicious, the tinga tacos, which were good, and the chipotle chicken burrito, which was excellent. The cocktails were also excellent."

"I've been to this restaurant twice now, mainly to enjoy their amazing margaritas, which are truly top-notch! During my latest visit, I decided to try the Camarones a la Diabla since I was in the mood for something spicy, along with some Mexican nachos. When I called to ask if I could substitute beef for extra beans, the staff was super helpful and even suggested adding rice, which I thought was a nice touch! The team was very friendly when I picked up my food, and it was both satisfying and delicious. I will definitely be back!"

"Me and my husband love eating here !! tonight we took a chance on ordering take out. Super disappointed in the spicy kani salad $7.50 for a spoonful of crab cut up cucumbers. Also when my husband went to pick up our order he saw the waitress crab our salad which I guess got accidentally made “for here” instead of “to go” grabbed it and tossed it in a to go box. Would recommend getting this salad at panda in Fredericksburg instead comes with a very generous amount of crab, cucumber , crunchies on top drizzled with eel sauce spicy mayo for $7.95."

"I was quite disappointed with my sushi. I ordered a spicy crab roll and a shrimp tempura roll, but both had a strange aftertaste that was reminiscent of something burnt. To top it off, I was charged $1.00 for a small container of eel sauce. I definitely won't be returning. Food: 1, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 1."

"I've been to El Tapatio Mexican several times and have always enjoyed the food. The staff is very friendly, and the margaritas are amazing—served in large glasses! They come in small, medium, and monster sizes; even the medium was too much for me to finish because of its generous size and strong flavor. The portions are hearty, and the dishes arrive quickly. Their chips and salsa are delicious, served with both red and white salsa. Overall, a fantastic experience!"

"Soggy Burritos, I asked if they could give me burritos this time instead of a burrito soup and still received salty soggy mush. Im no burrito expert, but I kind of thought you eat burritos with your hands and not a spoon. Thought I got chips dip with them also, nope. Asked to add lettuce which I paid $1.25 extra for, nope. This place is will never see a penny from me again though. Don 't take my word for it, go grab a spoon and a soggy burrito from El Cap!"

"I have put a call and the maitre d' was a very friendly and friendly, dark haired young man. the taco salad was good and the clientele was friendly in the bar. a beautiful festive atmosphere. I ordered a soft drink in the bar and I had to ask to get it in a glass I thought was surprising. it took a while to get the drink because they had the taste I wanted in the cellar or in a storage area and it had to be retrieved. the place was busy and for me this is a good indicator that it is a good place. I would definitely go back."

"This restaurant offers a better experience for vegetarians compared to Mi Cancun or Los Tres Magueryes in the area. They allow you to customize any menu item with vegetarian options, which is a refreshing change from the soggy vegetables typically served as a meat substitute elsewhere. The prices are also quite reasonable. One suggestion for the restaurant: although we visited in the late evening, if strong cleaning chemicals are being used at the bar, it would be best to seat customers further away from the odor."

"My family and I tried this restaurant on a whim. To be honest, Tennessee and/or Kentucky are not really known for anything authentic outside of fried chicken or BBQ. I have been constantly disappointed in what is considered Mexican food out here and horrified that a lot of the demographic REQUIRE some nasty white goop that they even consider queso . ?? Needless to say, to find any good eateries without names like, El Cilantro, Uncle Julios, The Border Cantina, Cinco de Mayo , just to name a few, ????? adds insult to injury but I digress. We stopped at El Ranchero because our trip to Springfield was cut short due to everything being closed. We saw that in Springfield, there was a higher population of Latinos and being adjacent to the city White House, TN we were hopeful. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT (but this was also due to the constant reiterating of, No white queso on anything, please! IYKYK I ordered the combo of Chile Relleno with a Cheese Enchilada that comes with a side of refried beans rice. My fiancé ordered the Chile Colorado served with a side of beans rice and flour tortillas. My teenager ordered fried shrimp wrapped in bacon. He is very picky but he loves shrimp and bacon. ????? It also came with a side of quesadilla which was delicious! The cheese definitely reminded me of an authentic staple growing up. ? The sweet tea was good but my son didn 't get refills so I cant say if it is the best. They did serve fountain Coke which I prefer. Then my fiancé and I decided to try a Margarita. We tried an original, no frills, on the rock. It was served in the typical big glass with rim on salt. Flavorful good on alcohol (cant remember price). They were quick to seat upon entering. The staff was friendly with the greetings. Our server Marcos was friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful on making sure that I would order a delicious meal. Overall, the service was prompt the bill came out to around $50 including 20% tip."

"Wow... what a cluster. Made reservations for outdoor dining, Had to wait for a table while the hostess answered the phones and took take out orders. Then we were placed on a pub table which was fine with us. 15 minutes later we are still waiting for a waitress to acknowledge us or to take a drink order. Looking around at the other tables outside we noticed no one was eating. Waitress’ walking around clueless and with no urgency. We left and went to our go to spot. Please go somewhere else for pub food."

"It’s not uncommon for staff at other places to be annoyed at serving a customer after a lull, but not here. The waiter noticed I was having trouble seeing something on my phone and kindly offered me a sheet of paper with the WiFi password since reception can be tricky here. As I glanced around, he asked, “What are you looking for? Need hot sauce? Here you go!” He also offered me some of their homemade hot sauce to try. When I mentioned my preferences, he asked, “Is baseball okay? Would you like me to change the channel?” It once was said that service is simply what happens to you: taking orders, getting them right, and delivering what you asked for is the bare minimum; but true hospitality is about anticipating your needs and ensuring you have the best experience possible. The food was excellent, and I know I’ll be coming back again and again for such delightful cuisine and service that’s hard to come by. My server’s name was Ollie."

"There is good BBQ and there is great BBQ in this town. Freedmen's definitely falls into the latter category. While I can understand not wanting to settle for mediocre BBQ with so many good options available, I cannot comprehend why someone would wait in a 3-hour line when the food at Freedmen's is just as good, if not better, in my opinion, than the other place that starts with an F. Normally, sides at BBQ restaurants are not my favorite, but the roasted beets with gruyere cheese at Freedmen's are so delicious that even those who are not big fans of beets will be impressed. Additionally, the German potatoes have much more flavor than your average potato salad. The brisket has a fantastic crust and is incredibly tender, while the ribs (both pork and beef) practically fall off the bone."
