"I’ve been a Porta Bella fan for years. Not sure I will go back anytime soon. 140 bucks (incl 15% tip) didn’t give me a price/value worm and fuzzy feeling. 3 people had cheese bread, small pitcher of Sangria, Porta salads, scallops pasta, fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and pasta with vodka sauce. All the food was good. Specifically, the scallops were very tender (difficult to do), the sangria was definitely good for 2 people, but the chicken in the fettuccine was soggy. But the overall high price still didnt match the standard quality of the food. I was disappointed in the reduced menu offerings. I loved coming here in the past for their chicken tetrazzini over spinach noodles then baked to make crispy tops on the cheese. None of that is offered any more. Service was disappointing. Mike greeted us right away. There were very few tables in the restaurant that night, and it was obvious everyone was training a new person. Still, tables remained cluttered with dirty dishes, we saw no wait staff in our area for 10 min or more, and wait staff went to and from the kitchen with empty hands a cardinal sin in serving staff etiquette. We sat without refills on water, waited a long time between Mike’s table visits, and generally felt like service to all the tables could have been more frequent and attentive. In our experience, wait staff should spend 90% of their time on the floor being unobtrusive observers of things that need to be done. We usually tip 20% or even higher now. We left Mike a note expressing paining why we tipped 15% because we wanted to justify our lower tip amount. For 140 bucks, we would have expected a very high quality of service and food. Neither was the case on this visit. We might be back to try it again. Parking: Ramp across the street can be busy depending on time. Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy access to the door. Wheelchair seating would not be possible in the main room except at the end of a table."

"I have been a regular at Vince's Crabhouse, but my recent experience has left me disappointed. The food quality has taken a nosedive, and I must say, it was far from enjoyable. I ordered the stuffed shrimp, and unfortunately, they tasted freezer-burnt, which was a real letdown. Moreover, the crab imperial was unappetizingly watery, and the crabmeat looked discolored, making it difficult to stomach. To add to my disappointment, the overall decline in the food's taste and presentation was quite noticeable. It's evident that the food quality has gone downhill, and that's not something you want to see in a place you frequent. The service was another aspect that didn't impress me during my visit. It was slow, and the staff seemed inattentive, which made the dining experience even less enjoyable. A good dining experience isn't just about the food, but also about the service, and in this case, it fell short. The crabcake, a signature dish, was a major disappointment. It was filled with around 80% filler, lacking any substantial lump meat. For a place renowned for its crab dishes, this was a major letdown. On the bright side, I must admit that the macaroni and cheese was one saving grace. It was pretty good, and it's the only reason this review isn't a one-star.Overall, I'm quite disappointed with the decline in the quality of food and the lackluster service at Vince's Crabhouse. With such a negative experience, I am hesitant to return in the future. I hope they address these issues and strive to bring back the quality that I once appreciated.Parking: About 15 spots."

"What did we like? The best part of our experience was our server, Steph! Why? She made excellent recommendations after asking questions about what we had a taste for, she made recommendations based on our budget to enable us to taste some of the flavors we were interested in, and she made a custom ‘Crush’ for us! Crush is an alcoholic drink they serve in a variety of flavors. Because we could not decide on flavors, Steph made a special ‘Crush’ drink for our table. We loved it. If had berries, citrus and coconut flavors. Very refreshing drink! What do we wish we had known before we went? Price for seasonal items. Even though we weren’t on a ‘budget’, next time we will check the prices for Maryland crab dishes before goingjust so we don’t have sticker shock. We had no budget so we ordered the crab cakes $57 for two cakes and two sides). While the price can be shocking at first, the crab cakes were huge so two of us split the dish Steph had recommended that great suggestion). Highly recommend the crab cakes. All crab, no filler! Lightly seasoned so an excellent choice for those who like the natural taste of crab. Would we dine there again? Yes! And would come during the day so we can enjoy the view and outside seating.
