"This place is located right next to an overpass, making it easy to miss it and hard to find street parking. I don’t think the lot next to the building is theirs so I had to park on the street behind the restaurant. This is a very small quick service restaurant that you have to use the kiosk to put in your order. They only have 3 two seater tables open with 2 bar stool seats facing the window when I visited. All the other seats were closed off. This place feels and breathes japanese rice bowl (don) and their menu is pretty simple and straight forwardSalmon poke 5 5I honestly don’t know where the salmon came from and how it was stored, but it taste very fresh and has a very nice orange color to it. The cucumbers, tobiko and seaweed salad makes the whole thing taste really good. The lettuce, imitation crab meat and the wasabi was sub par. I got this with 50 50 rice salad. I would love to see some edamame and maybe some other greens. The yuzu sauce is also really good with the poke.Veggie Croquette 6 5 (not a typo)My god is this good. Very crispy outside, a soft mushy inside. This was fried to PERFECTION. This is what I’ve always imagined what frying mashed potatoes on crack would taste like. The katsu sauce is very good for dipping, but it’s not as thick or as sharp as you would expect for katsu.Overall they used some packaged stuff from distributors, but it’s definitely worth a try. I will definitely try their other donburi next time.Vegetarian options: They offer vegetarian menu options like tofu. However the menu options is not extensive."
