"Update: This was my fourth visit, and unfortunately, the food quality has dropped significantly. The once juicy chicken, their signature dish, smelled and tasted off. They were extremely slow to bring bread for our appetizer. The albaloo polo was a disappointment—it was basically uncooked white rice with a few cooked cherries and no sorbet. It was so dry that I left most of it uneaten. I used to bring my friends here, but this experience was such a letdown that I won’t be returning.
Previous review: My friend and I enjoyed the juicy chicken and bone-in chicken served with zereshk polo. Though a bit pricey, the restaurant offers a pleasant ambiance and feels more upscale compared to other Persian spots in LA. Our server, Mohammad, was fantastic and gave excellent recommendations. I definitely planned to come back to try more dishes, especially their barg kabob."
