"We were immediately seated with our open table reservation. The food offerings were high quality, with great selection, in a "Waldorf Astoria" setting of elegance. The staff was very personable. In the serving line , I had asked for sugar free syrup, but they said they didn't have any. (odd I thought), so I mentioned it to my server, who promptly smiled and said, ah but I do! and went and brought back a small cup of s/f syrup. I will be going back for my husband's conference in May (coincidentally at the same hotel) and I will definitely be making a reservation...I think I'll do that right now before I forget...."

"My husband and I went to celebrate his birthday because I wanted to do something special. We were not disappointed. We had a table on the 5th floor with a stunning view of the river and we were treated like we were the only couple there. Such an attentive staff to every detail. We were gifted a free appetizer for his birthday and not one piece of food that was served could have been any more perfect! The chef is top notch! If you’re looking for fine dining, the Pump House is the place to go … but you are going to pay fine dining prices. I highly recommend the filet mignon. Perfection!!"

"The food is just ok, I 've been here multiple times and I 've never been fully satisfied with how my food was. I come mostly to eat outside. I went this morning and ordered The Local . The egg for this dish comes scrambled with cheddar, and I asked the waitress for the egg to be fried instead. She then said she wasn 't sure that the chef would be willing to do it because too many dish modifications make it too difficult for him to keep up with orders. Which I thought was bazar, but he was able to fry my egg. The egg didn 't have the cheddar, which is what it comes with ,so I let the waitress know. The waitress went to talk to the chef and she comes back and says that fried eggs don 't come with cheese. Which at this point I 'm totally baffled at the lack of customer service from the chef. It 's odd to be so resistant to meeting customer 's needs; making my food is not charity work, I 'm actually paying for it."

"I wanted to like this place so badly, but for the price point and service, it just wasn’t it and didn’t hit. The ribeye was flavorful and brown butter mashed potatoes were tasty, but the ribeye steak still was sad looking with three baby halved potatoes. I told the server I couldn’t eat raw meat due to my health condition and asked for the steak to be medium. We also ordered the rack of lamb, which we were not asked how we’d like it cooked. It was served to me pretty raw and when I mentioned it to the server, he was trying to convince me that it was cooked even though I couldn’t cut through the meat and it was pretty raw inside. They took it back to cook it more on the grill and then it was actually cooked. Major turnoff. Our busser was much more friendly and attentive than our expressionless/emotionless server. For almost a $200 meal, there are so many other places we would rather try or spend our money."

"We had an amazing experience! There was a nearby table where a woman had a seizure, and the staff were on top of it. Calling 911, making sure the poor woman was safe, and still attending to the other patrons. You could tell that the episode weighed heavy on the hearts of the staff, and I was so touched by their compassion. Our dining experience was lovely. I ordered the fish and chips, classic, and the drink menu was stellar. Our waitress was wonderful, and kept checking back with us and grabbing anything we needed a lot of times without being asked. Thank you for everything, I will definitely be back! P.S., The Winnie Cooper was the BEST drink!"

"I had a wonderful time with my wife and friends. Unlike other places, there was no drama at all. The music was fantastic, and it wasn't overly crowded. We enjoyed the drinks and the overall atmosphere. And I should mention—there were no annoying drunks to ruin the evening!"
