"The tiki theme has me from the word go. I was treated to lunch at the Beach Hut Deli by a friend and needless to say, it is now my go to place for lunch that I know will be spectacular EVERY TIME. As a half Moon Bay native, the first thing I noticed about the decor was all of the HMB stickers and photos. There's even an actual tiki bar and surfboards for tables! I also couldn't help but notice the fact that there were packs of sanitizing wipes on every single table so in these post-Covid times, it's nice to see that cleanliness is paramount (including the pristine bathroom, yes, I always check lol)! Okay, now the sandwiches: every one I've had has been made with such care and with such perfection, the ingredients they use are obviously the freshest available and although the beach bikini sandwich has been my go to, I plan on working my way through the whole menu because literally everything looks amazing. It's a multi-generational affair and when you are there you feel like family because they all treat you as such. Whether you eat at a surfboard table inside or the outside (also beach themed) enclosed area, I HIGHLY recommend trying this place out, I predict they'll be around for a long time, they are that great!"
