"We dropped our car off for a windshield replacement and decided to grab some breakfast at Elmer’s nearby. We were seated immediately in a nice, quiet booth and our drink orders were taken and filled quickly by our server, Stefanie, who then took our orders. My husband was intrigued by the German pancake described by the menu as being “as big as Crater Lake!” and was convinced he HAD to try it! It came with fruit as an option on the pancake, eggs cooked his way and choice of ham, apple/chicken/pork sausage, or bacon. The German Pancake was a work of art! One simply wanted to gaze at it to appreciate it’s artistic shape, the rustic ruffled edges sprinkled with powdered sugar, and the crepe-like folds of the interior resembling the gathers of a classy ball gown twirling around the plate in a sexy food dance all it’s own! The butter, syrup, and lemon wedges are musical ecoutrements that get your feet moving to the beat of this wonderful dish. Who wouldn’t love the symphony this dish serves? I ordered the buttermilk pancakes, bacon and poached eggs, and a fresh fruit salad. The pancakes were big and fluffy, so I shared 2 with hubby, and also shared half of my bacon which was cooked perfectly to my request (chewy not crispy . The eggs were large, tasty, fresh, and perfectly poached! I like the whites firm but not watery and the yolks very runny, and these were on point! The fruit salad was fresh (nothing out of a can! and plentiful. It was the best breakfast we’ve had in months if not years! Our cooks, Anthony and Freddy, did an OUTSTANDING job preparing our meals, and our server, Stephanie, made sure we had the best dining experience possible! We can’t wait to return and try the prime rib dinner and steak! This place rocks!!!!"

"During our travels we like to try to eat new places. It is rare that we are trying to get a new place for breakfast, as we usually go to hotels and motels that have their very unique versions of ? The continental breakfast?. This time we decided we wanted a heart more? Complete breakfast. So we left our hotel and drove to Bend, hoping to find a nice place to eat on the way. Enter Elmer?s in Grant's Pass. When we drove my beautiful navigator, her friend Siri asked to propose a good breakfast restaurant. Siri?'s top proposal from Elmer?s culminated my interest in my wife and so we made our way there. Once the building seemed no different or more special than the IHOPs of the old or the Sharis over the street. The only hint that gave his ability to win? the best breakfast place in Grants Pass?, after reviews, was a complete parking lot. I conjure my best knight driver imitation, I quickly and deftly pulled into the parking just in time to find a vehicle that leaves its place open to us. We parked and entered the building, all of us slept that we didn't have to wait long. Once inside we were warmly welcomed and brought to our table. Our server brought us menus and asked what we wanted to drink. We made our choices and a few minutes later, our food came out, warm and smell delicious! I honestly cannot remember the name we have chosen; everything I know is that her choice had the word?farmer? in her and mine had avocado. Well, the moment of truth came to us and, wow! Good breakfast. Your hash-browns are rubbed by fresh potatoes and pancaked to a golden, crunchy brown that is so hard to get? My very, very large, three-egg omelet was with deliciously melted cheese and smoked, Chipotle-infused bacon and coupled with the fresh fluffy eggs and avocado was heavenly. Of course it took a little kick, but that's easy? Because I have to put my hot sauce on everything! My wife Farmer breakfast was huge!!! Tons of haash, two eggs, two compounds of turkey sausage, two strips of bacon and two slices of the most juicy ham I've ever had. (Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it was too much for her and I was the nice guy I am helped her. She found the coffee to be moderate, but even better that it had in hotels. My orange juice was freshly pressed and cooled to perfection. The price was good. Definitely worth breakfast. Service was excellent and friendly throughout. Are we coming back? Maybe. But that? Because we're trying not to go to the same place twice. Eating here is good and plentiful!"
