"Very good NM cuisine. Large menu and ample portions. There are many dishes besides Mexican ones to choose from. I had a combination plate with a Chili rellano and a beef enchilada. Attentive, personable and hard working, friendly staff. The waitresses we had and interacted with (3 in total) enhanced the feeling of being in a true New Mexican small town. Their service and care were outstanding and they were fun to talk too, going out of their way to point out the historical aspects of the restaurant and local area. The building is older, circa 1967, and has a Route 66 vibe, even though it is well south of the actual Route 66 corridor. Some might call it dated, I prefer and more rightfully think the proper word is nostalgic There are separate bar and restaurant areas, but you can get the same food menu in the bar or drinks in the restaurant. In an age of plastic corporate restaurants, this place is a breath of fresh air."
