"El Fenix has been an integral part of Dallas culture since 1918, offering catering, dine-in, and curbside pickup. The service was quick, and the food was delicious. They serve traditional Mexican cuisine, along with unlimited chips and salsa, which is a nice perk since many places now charge for chips. In addition to their classic menu, they also offer street tacos and El Pastor (pork). I opted for the Juarez, while my husband chose the fajita beef nachos. Our food arrived promptly and was served hot—absolutely delicious! We were treated to a fresh basket of chips and more salsa as well. We indulged a bit too much, but we couldn't finish it all. They kindly provided us with a takeout container and a bag for our leftover chips. You can even buy their chips, salsa, and pecan pralines at the cashier. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning. P.S. Hand sanitizer was available throughout the restaurant, including in the restrooms."
