"I reserved an igloo to celebrate my birthday with my husband, parents, and in laws (6 total). We have never done anything like this before and had the best time. I typically don't write reviews but felt compelled to because of the unique experience. We had great service (both our server Cody and restaurant manager Gwen were taking care of us and were awesome), the temperature was perfect (they have multiple heaters on and blankets available in case you get chilly but also said they can turn up/down heaters at request), the igloo itself was spacious and well decorated, and per usual, the food was great. While it might be a bit costly up front, $200 is easy to hit with 6 people who are ordering food and drinks. We had the best time and I would hands down do it again. We all felt beyond safe as far as COVID goes it's your own little bubble!Perfect for a celebration of any sort, girls night out, you name it!"

"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate on his own initiative. We will come back in any case."

"I should have ordered sushi instead. I got the seafood yaki soba and while I was pleased with the waitress and her attentiveness, I was not happy with my meal. The seafood included 5 shrimp, 2 scallops (cut in half), and a 3-inch piece of imitation crab (also cut in half). In my opinion, no restaurant should be rated higher than 2 if they serve imitation crab. The shrimp were overcooked and lacked flavor, the scallops were colorless and tasteless, and the imitation crab speaks for itself. The noodles were decent. On the other hand, my 11-year-old daughter enjoyed her salmon hibachi with no complaints. I would like to give this place 3 stars for the exceptional service, but the quality of the food brings the overall rating down."

"Absolutely the best fried rice I've ever had! I tried the steak fried rice, and it’s quite different from traditional Chinese fried rice. It's incredibly delicious, tastes fresh, and the steak is always cooked to perfection; it's never tough to chew. I've visited several times with my family and can confidently say the quality is consistently excellent. The customer service is fantastic—every staff member we encountered was friendly and attentive. The sushi is outstanding, always fresh each time we order it. The seasoning on the chicken is delightful and comes with a wonderfully sweet sauce. The pork egg rolls are a must-try—crispy and delicious every single time! We also enjoyed the ramen noodles; the broth has an amazing flavor. Everything we've tried has been exceptional, and we’ll definitely keep coming back. I also have to mention the steak with noodles, which was fantastic. I can't recommend this place enough! Plus, the prices are very reasonable. It truly is the perfect spot! Thank you, Fuji Sushi!"

"Ambience: Nice decor and decent seating. Food: Not very tasteful. Very limited vegetarian options. And all of them kind of tasted very similar. Service: We had just 1 entre order yet they were considerate enough to bring they chef out on hibachistation for live cooking. BUT! DISLIKE: After the live cooking session, the chef offered a drink that he poured out of a squeezebottle into my husband and brother 's mouth in a seemingly fun way which he kept calling Sogi (as we heard him), that we laterfound out was an alcoholic beverage and is called Saki . This being our 1st visit to a Asian hibachi place, we had no idea whatit was and the chef seemed so persistent and eager in his efforts to playfully give us a taste of the drink, which he did noteven once declared had alcohol in it! Might not sound too bad for many but- MY HUSBAND HAS NEVER HAD ALCOHOL IN HIS LIFE!, dueto his religious sentiments. Due to the minor misunderstanding and not clearly mentioning that the drink had liquor in it, myhusband n brother 's religious sentiments were tampered and the night wasn 't fun anymore for any of us. The waitress was kindenough to apologize several times and communicated it to the chef to always declare that drink has alcohol conent in it. But themanager was completely unperturbed and showed no remorse, respect or apology for the event. Instead tried to play it down andtold us that Saki is a common n obvious part of hibachi places. A little understanding and a kind gesture from the manager wouldhave made things better for us.. but no such attempts were made. So, never going back to this place again!"

"I discovered this restaurant on Groupon and decided to take my son there for his birthday. He loves teppanyaki, so I thought it would be a nice treat for him. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make my son's birthday special. I have seen some complaints about the service, but I understand that it can be challenging to find the right staff for a place like this, especially considering the constraints on budget. Despite this, the restaurant offers good meals at a reasonable price and the teppan chefs are skilled at their craft. I recommend giving them a chance and being patient with any service delays, as these types of restaurants are more complex than your average dining establishment. The quality of the food and the portion sizes more than make up for any minor service issues."

"I love sushi, and I've been to allot of restaurants throughout the bay, and I gotta say that Nikko Sushi is probably my favorite place now. The service is ridiculously on point. The staff all greet you as soon as you walk in, and they're all so warm and friendly. The food is wonderful! We got the baked scallop roll, the raiders roll, the Lion King roll, and an appetizer of shrimp tempura. We also ordered some sake, because it was $1 an order, which consisted of about 4 little cups worth, and they also brought us miso soup. It was all so amazing!! I can't wait to go back, I really recommend this place!"

"We went for a coworker's birthday at 11:30am lunch. It was not very crowded at all. Parking was a little difficult to find since its a small parking lot. We were seated quickly and ordered our drinks and ordered off the menu. Staff was attentive enough. Iwouldn't term it friendly. Lunch combo comes with clear soup, salad (very small), vegetables, fried rice and your choice ofprotein. My lunch of steak and shrimp with a $3 green tea came to $29. Our group's concerns were about the leftover dried riceand food still left on the hibachi grill as we waited for the chef to arrive. We wondered why it hadn't been cleaned from thenight before. The chef arrived about 20 minutes after seating and confirmed our individual orders. Best part of lunch was theflame burst as chef used oil to torch the hibachi. The rice was very good. Several of my coworkers ordered steak and shrimpcombo along with me. I ordered steak medium. Chef served my steak well with everyone else's choice. It wasn't dry but not mypreference. It's been a while since I visited a hibachi restuarant, but I remember more fanfare with cooking the meal in frontof the customers and general chatting with the seated guest from the chef. The restuarant allows for separate checks, willcharge a small differential for paying with cash versus credit card. Overall it was a good meal. No one tried the sushi. Maybeon another visit if we give it another try."

"My husband and I had 5:30 reservations for Christmas dinner. We were seated promptly. Server was a lovely young man. We ordered a cocktail right away and when he brought them, we ordered dinner. We waited snd waited and then waited sone more. No dinner. Server kept coming by and saying he was checking on it. Meanwhile, tables who came in much later than us were being served. Server came back and offered us complimentary soup while we waited for dinner. We declined, it had already been close to an hour. We never complained as our server seemed to be on top of it. After over an hour of waiting, We had decided to just leave. Just wanted our drink tab to pay and leave. Right then a woman came out with our dinner, placed them in front of us saying nothing and started to leave. I asked if she was the manager and she said yes. I asked about the wait as now the 6pm reservations that were seated next to us we’re done with their dinner! No apology. Just I’ll have the chef come out and you can talk to him. And then she commented that they would take care of dinner and walked away. Chef never came out (I never wanted him to). Husband ate his dinner. I boxed mine up. Just ruined our experience. They did buy our dinner, but did present us with a bill for our two cocktails. Any restaurant can have a bad night. But you need to have a manger with a compassionate personality and knows how to deliver an apology. This woman had neither. Very, very disappointed with our experience and lack of management apology and recovery,"

"Ate here last night, no wait and great service. Our table ordered the udon noodle bowls with some miso soup and spicy tuna on crunchy rice. All were really great and the miso was larger than typical miso sizes. The miso was good but nothing atypical or exceptional. The noodles were great and I would recommend stir fried over soup which are the two options for preparation. My favorite has to be the spicy tuna, I highly recommend. I only give a 4 star review because they were out of some items that we wanted to order. All in all a great meal."

"We were traveling home and were staying at the Hampton Inn within walking distance of Kita. I did a quick look at the menu and we decided to go here for dinner. The restaurant is very nice inside and conversation friendly. Our server was very attentive. They have an extensive menu including sushi and teppanyaki dishes. We chose to go with teppanyaki. I had the scallops and my husband had the salmon. It comes with soup and salad, fried rice and a ton of veggies. The food was delicious! All was perfectly prepared. Portions are a good size and the prices are more than fair. My scallops were under $30 and I got 9 of them! If we lived closer, we would definitely put Kita on our list of go to restaurants."

"Happy Sumo is one of our favorites for yummy sushi. The sunset roll is my absolute favorite! We r tried the Diva Roll and the Rainbow crunch roll which both have a rice paper wrapping and both were tasty and fresh. This time we tried the Yaki Soba and I found it to be pretty bland, but I didn't hate it. We also tried a Sake sampler and while we didn't end up enjoying it, I think that's our own personal preference when it comes to drinks we had never had Sake. The presentation and flavors of different Sakes were fun and I'd recommend trying it if that's something you're into! Service was good and fast especially for freshly made food. We got a table with the curtains and liked that ambiance!"

"This local sushi restaurant is amazing! I have been searching for a place that offers delicious sushi for takeout during lunchtime. Samurai Blue has a fantastic lunch special with 4 simple rolls for only $15. I'm thinking of sharing the special with my partner next time and trying a specialty roll for a perfect lunch. "Very disappointed with the experience here especially after being so excited for our date night to try it out based on the great reviews. Our reservation was for We arrived and sat inside. We ordered our drinks and after receiving them started ordering appetizers, the waitress advised us to order our entree as well because the kitchen is closing, the restaurant closes at Online has the closing at but we assumed they would at least let us eat enjoy the food and drinks without excessive rushing. Wrong! The patrons that were still there were given their checks to pay and clean up was in full swing, even cleaning our table picking up straw wrapper extra plates as we drank. When our meals arrived, not even minutes later someone came over to ask if we’d like togo boxes. The waitress was watching our table on and off so we felt super rushed and the whole date vibe was just killed. My boyfriend lost his appetite and as soon as our waitress returned from sweeping the outside area we requested the check and the togo boxes. We ended up over in the Mizner Park area and finished our night with drinks and a snack at the bar inside Yard House, which totally redeemed that crappy experience. What makes it even worse is that the food was delicious at Lemongrass drinks not so much. But now we’re totally turned off to return a second time. Instead of having reservations available on Opentable they should close the window earlier and definitely update hours of operation. Also, when we checked in at the front with the hostess we should have been told they’re closing at so we could make the decision to eat elsewhere"

"We recently discovered Feng and absolutely love it! The food here is the best among all the Asian restaurants in the Farmington Valley, and may even be the best restaurant overall. They offer outdoor dining and fantastic specials on appetizers. The Kobe beef on a lava rock is incredible and creates a unique dining experience. We always order the Loveboat, which comes with enough sushi to satisfy at least 3 people, 4 if you get an appetizer. The hibachi rooms are beautifully decorated and separate from the main dining area. The ambiance and decor are both very pleasing. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to learn that they are closing this Sunday (although they claim to be relocating, a new location has not been officially announced yet)."

"I am just learning to like Sushi, so I can't give five stars, but I really like this place. The happy hour menu is really a great value, and my wife always orders me the various tuna dishes and I love them. Get the one with the jalapeno on top in sauce. The atmosphere is great, and they even have two tv's turned on to sports if you are afraid of missing a game. Plus, you can walk down cool Tennyson Street before or after. Get a big Sappora and some Sake to wash it all down. Recommend."
