"I would not recommend this place. I use to love Chevy's , but they have changed and we are not impressed. Salsa so hot it burns your mouth, waiter said they had run out of beans so even though it's included on the menu, it will NOT be on your plate, a MEXICAN restaurant that runs out of BEANS ??!!! really???, we didn't get silverware to eat with until long after our meal was served. the regional manager came over and apologized for the poor service and offered to pay for our meal , but the experience was so uncomfortable, and unprofessional, that it just didn't matter. also our table wasn't ready when we arrived from our long drive in even though we has called ahead. I don't think they want any non Spanish speaking people there. I noticed the Spanish speaking table next to us was attended to properly, and quickly, and they had forks , spoons, etc. IT's not necessary to make your food that damn hot with peppers! My husband ended up giving me his 1/2 eaten dinner, and he took mine. His nose began to flare, and run due to the hot spice on the tomotillo sauce. ridiculous. They had run out of corn cake, the manager finally brought me some after the fact I had to ask for it. it was just an unorganized mess. It's the new poor service that everyone is accepting as normal and it sucks."
