"On another night, we returned for dinner and enjoyed wonderful service along with fantastic food. I ordered the steak, and it was cooked to perfection. We also learned that the Fireside’s owner closed the restaurant and opened a new one, where he is more hands-on. I hope it will be just as good as Fireside.
A few nights later, my sister and her husband arrived at the hotel, and we decided to have late-night drinks and dessert after a show. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing, taking about 20 minutes for our orders to arrive, and the desserts were subpar—not worth the calories or the wait. I ordered a chocolate martini, which was just okay.
Before heading to the airport, my husband and I had one last lunch at the restaurant. The service was mediocre, with our steak knife missing, but the food was very good. Overall, I'm hoping they get back on track when they open again. Right now, though, it feels like a hit-or-miss place, which is why I rated them fairly."
