"My husband tried the enormous fried chicken sandwich with pickles, a spicy seasoned mayonnaise, and a buttery bun. He said it was incredible! I need to take a moment to rave about the cole slaw—it was the best fast food slaw I've ever had! The cabbage was fresh, crispy, and finely diced, mixed with julienned carrots and a creamy dressing that wasn't overly sweet. It tasted homemade, and I wish I had the recipe for that dressing; it was fabulous! I would definitely return just for that slaw—it was that good! Kudos to the slaw makers! I give the cole slaw a solid 5 stars!
On a less positive note, the iced tea was lukewarm instead of cold. I even requested extra ice, but it didn’t help—yuck! The service was quick, but there were some issues. We ordered three drinks, and they were all watery and warm—with no straws included. We also asked for barbecue sauce and butter, but the bag was missing those items. All we got were a couple of napkins, and considering we had fried chicken, we needed more! We had to park and go inside to pick up utensils and the other missing items.
In summary, while the fried chicken and biscuits were average, the sandwich was great (I'm a big fan), but I’ll definitely be dreaming about that cole slaw! No kidding!"
