"Today , we visited this restaurant for what was probably our fourth or fifth time. Our previous experience had been good enough that we chose to dine there again and again. Unfortunately, today’s experience was disappointing. The waitress became rude from the moment my wife asked to have her drink without ice. First she said that was not possible but, after we questioned that stance, agreed to do it. From then on, she became rude with one word answers. At the end of the meal, she automatically tacked on a 20% gratuity $30+ for our party of four. We paid without questioning it. In the way out, I took the liberty to ask another waitress about their policy and she said the automatic 20% was for parties of 6 or more. I requested the manager and asked her the same. She was quite ambiguous while saying it was possible during peak hours. I pointed out the discrepancy with the previous server and she offered to remove the automatic tip. I declined, thanked her and left. Don’t think we will go back."
