"I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience at Sushi Naper. Despite arriving with my family and friends (4 adults and an infant) at 6 P.M for an all-you-can-eat menu, it took an unreasonable amount of time to receive our food. The service was abysmal, and the waitstaff seemed indifferent to our needs.To make matters worse, it took a whole hour to receive only half of our order, leaving us starved and frustrated. We patiently waited for another 1.2 hours before the rest of our food finally arrived. The prolonged wait time and disorganized service were simply unacceptable.We were starving, but to wait another 1-1.2 h to get the food was too much, my infant was tired and cried so we decided to go somewhere else and get some takeout.When it came time to pay, I expressed my disappointment and dissatisfaction, explaining that I was still hungry and unsatisfied with both the service and the quality of the food. However, instead of addressing the issue professionally, I received a disrespectful response from the staff which was "EVERYONE IS WAITING 1 HOUR AND YOU ARE NOT A SPECIAL PERSON TO BE SERVED FASTER THAN ANYBODY ELSE” and was told “ OFF”??.I care about my money and how I spend it and based on the experience of the restaurant, my friends and family decided that paying full price for such a disappointing experience is criminal and I should have at least a 30% discount. I was discussing why I shouldn’t pay full price but the waiter decided to call the cops on us and tell the police that we didn 't want to pay WITCH IS NOT TRUE, I just felt like I was being robbed. Overall it was a disappointing night.I cannot emphasize how disappointed I am with my experience at Sushi Naper. The excruciating wait, which caused my infant to cry, and also me being coupled with the disrespectful attitude displayed by the staff, left a bitter taste in my mouth. I would strongly advise against dining at this establishment if you value your time, money, and overall dining experience.Save yourself the frustration and find a different restaurant that can provide both efficient service and quality food."

"Did not have an enjoyable time.Arrived at four o 'clock or so. Sat down and ordered food. Seemed like a good atmosphere and service was prompt.Then the band started playing.And they were loud. Overwhelmingly loud. My smart watch told me that they played in excess of 110 decibels louder than a jackhammer.One of the children at our table started crying, the music was so loud. It was impossible to have a conversation, or even hear the servers.The mariachi band and servers were even wearing earplugs!Since the restaurant refused to turn down the volume (they were using speakers, on top of the horns), we left. Their security guard chased us outside and accused us of not paying, even though we didn 't even receive our food!The manager made us pay and take the food to go. She also suggested that we didn 't like the music because we were white...no, we didn 't like the ridiculous volume!The food was good, although it certainly wasn 't worth the price, headache, and likely hearing loss.Would. Not. Recommend.Kid friendliness: NOT very kid friendly."

"We showed up at 6pm on Saturday. There were 3 hibachi stations in use and 1 available but the lights were off. We were second in line. We weren 't seated for another 75 minutes, and they never turned the last station on. It took 45 minutes for them to take our order, bring drinks, and get our hibachi worker to the table. I would call him a chef except for the following: he dropped his utensils 3 times during the intro routine and it clearly wasn 't part of the routine, he dropped 3 of the 4 eggs and got shells all over the food not all of which were picked out, and the eggs, chicken, and shrimp were so overcooked that jerky would have been juicier. Two of us ordered the yakisoba noodles only to be served spaghetti noodles. For dessert, the waitress took super hot metal bowls right out of the dishwasher and put ice cream in them then spent 10 minutes walking around the restaurant letting it all melt while asking all the other workers if they knew where the spoons were. We were then served completely melted ice cream without anything do much as an apology. Finally, when they messed up our ticket, it took 3 workers 15 minutes to realize none of them knew how to work the computer and couldn 't get it right without deleting the whole order and starting over. We arrived at 6pm and left at 9:15 having spent nearly $100 for two people to eat overcooked food full of egg shells and melted ice cream. Do not patron this place! Lafayette has tons of other restaurants and this place does not deserve your money!"

"Felt like having some Korean food, and decided to give this new place (to us) a try. The front of the place was a bit confusing, for us, in finding a parking spot, as they somehow seemed like it's for other neighboring businesses. We parked in the back and used the back entrance to the restaurant. The decor inside is simple, and the set up is a long corridor; sitting on the right and sushi counter and kitchen on the left. The Korean dishes weren't that many, and for the meal we got sushi app, bibimbap, and chicken katsu. All were fresh and tasty. If you want a full Korean menu, this is not it. But what we ordered it was very good!"

"A friend recommended it, and I am so glad they did! This was a treat for my daughter 's birthday, and good sushi is one food my adult children can agree on. My son was leary because this was our first time here, but was quickly impressed by the atmosphere and service. This was soon overtaken by the quality of the sushi itself. The fish was fresh, and presentation on point! The entire experience was enhanced with the occasional complemtary, sample selections served, the complimentary birthday dessert, and balloon blossom presented to my daughter just for mentioning we were celebrating! Kid-friendliness: My children have grown up as sushi lovers. I started them with less challenging, veggie, and cooked options early. There were several families with children of ALL ages while we were there enjoying themselves. There are lots of menu options to choose from and balloon swoards for the asking!"

"We decided to grab a quick sushi lunch before heading back to the Bay Area. No 1 Kazuko is located right across the street from my hotel the San Gabriel Hilton on Valley Blvd. I made reservations and was seated right away. There is a QR code menu but we were handed a lunch menu which we ordered from. Deluxe Chirashi 4 stars nice fresh cuts of fish but nothing special that makes it deluxe. No 2 Bento 4 stars comes with grilled mackerel, tempura, sashimi and a salmon tuna poke salad. Nigiri sushi lunch 4 stars normal cuts of fish Service was good. Parking in the rear at the Del Mar Ranch 99 shopping center. If you sit at the booths near the sushi bar there is a TV."

"I visited this restaurant for Mother's Day, and I found that making a reservation is easier for parties of two or more, as individuals may face a wait of over 30 minutes. The staff here is fantastic—friendly, professional, and always in good spirits. The food quality is excellent, and the prices for hibachi are very reasonable! Their sushi menu is also impressive. Our waitress was wonderful and very accommodating. Overall, this is a great spot for hibachi or sushi! I took some pictures to show how everything turned out, and the restaurant also has a lovely wall of decorations!"

"It was awful. We didn 'the know who our sever was. No tea was given upon entry. Their ramune was grossly lukewarm and their signature beer Sapporo was out of stock and our dinner was at 8. What kind of restaurant doesn 't stock accordingly if they ran out during the peaked hour of the evening?! They also ran out of Asahi, too (shocker). Our beef tataki didn 't come with ponzu sauce and this random server lied to us saying the chef very lightly add it. No. There. Was. No. Ponzu. Sauce. (And then they add too much ponzu) Also, to add salt to our wound and to wrap the night up, another random server carelessly spilled ponzu sauce all over the table and some on my boyfriend 's shirt. No compensation and no discounted given, just a frantic apology and a cloth given a little too late. Will I go back? Nope. Food sucks, ambience mediocre, and terrible service makes it the worst guu location I 've ever been, so I rather stick with the ones in downtown Vancouver because I always have a guu 'd time there."

"Great sushi!! What caught my eye was the salmon sushi lunch and it was delicious. The sashimi has huge pieces of salmon. I hosted a group of 20 there and the owner was super nice and welcoming. Everyone that got sushi loved their food but one of my friends said they didn't like their vegetable fried rice. I like that there's Japanese and Korean food so there should be a dish for everyone. Definitely recommend coming here."

"Tables have a two-hour maximum dining time. There is typically at least a half-hour wait to be seated, with an average of around an hour on a busy night. All party members must be present before anyone is seated. The dining area is small and tightly packed in terms of the number of seats and tables, but the experience is authentic compared to small, local bars in Japan. I recommend being patient and enjoying the food as it comes since they are often at capacity on a given night. My biggest complaint is often about the other guests. Due to the tight quarters and long wait times, rude guests can easily ruin the experience. I sat near two adult women who watched the entirety of Mean Girls at 100% volume on an iPad sitting on their table. I applaud Apple's products since I could hear every word, even with my earplugs. If you can avoid the iPad babies, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is top-notch. People without patience and those with claustrophobia should stay away."

"I had a gift certificate from Christmas that I decided to use at the restaurant. When I got there to pay, I was told that I couldn't use it because it wasn't stamped and the writing on it wasn't mine. The certificate was in an envelope with a menu, but despite explaining this, the staff refused to honor it. I offered to pay with my credit card, but the staff continued to be very stern about the situation. I reluctantly paid with my credit card, but was disappointed by the poor customer service and their unwillingness to accommodate a simple request for a $25.00 discount. This experience was for a takeout order."
