"Besides our chef, not a good hibachi experience whatsoever. The restaurant ambiance is drab, dingy, and dark this can be overlooked obviously. The food however, was not on par for what one would expect from hibachi. Salad served in a to go container. Strange, but can deal. Fried rice not made in front of you (they bring it out from the back) and it was not good. The consistency of the rice was as if it came out of a microwaved package, then fried. The hibachi veggies were good but a bit bland. The chicken and shrimp only tasted of butter and black pepper. They do not have the classic yum yum sauce (although the salad dressing is close and sufficed, and NO ginger sauce. One wonders if the quality has deteriorated due to COVID or if this is how it 's always been. Overall, I would not return to this establishment. It 's unfortunate because it is close to home and we had high hopes."
