"I love this place. It plays afro beat music how I like. They serve african dishes like jollof rice. Food, impeccable! As you can see, I bought two dishes. I ate one and took the other one home for lunch the next day. The drink was also tasty. I didn't get a chance to stay for the party later on in the night but I am sure everyone had a great time. Look forward to going back for my birthday"

"The service was very disappointing. Our waiter was a young girl who was just on her third day of work and seemed unsure of what to do. There was another young waiter who appeared to have more experience, but he didn’t really offer any assistance. With a group of 11 of us, we felt like we were at their mercy. The food was average at best, and the oil used in the dishes tasted off. To top it off, we each received a bill that included an automatic 18% gratuity, yet when it was time to pay, they still asked for a tip. If I ever return to Charlotte, I won’t be coming back here."

"Everything about this restaurant is fantastic. My partner took me here just over a month ago, and we enjoyed the Poncho Villa burger and French fries, as well as the Nigerian beef. Everything was delicious, and the owner was very attentive to our needs. On our latest visit, we tried the fried calamari, and it was an absolute treat! The breading provided just the right amount of crunch, with plenty of flavor! This is definitely one of our favorite places to eat in the Fulton/Arden area. It's not easy to find good restaurants that offer a variety of dishes, so when we discover gems like Boolu Eatery, we keep coming back."
