"However, we hit a minor snag when I noticed that Lone Star was listed on their beer menu but they were out of stock. No big deal. The waitress recommended the ribs since it was rib night, so I ordered a half-rack while my wife opted for the pulled chicken enchilada. Both dishes arrived within 5-7 minutes, but they were only lukewarm at best. My ribs, while tasty, were a touch on the dry side, and at $30, I expected them to be exceptional.
As for my wife's enchilada, it wasn’t the traditional type we are used to; it consisted of three small tortillas stacked and layered with enchilada sauce and chunks of chicken rather than pulled meat. It was incredibly spicy and loaded with onions, making it nearly inedible for her. Having lived in Texas and enjoyed countless meals at local Tex-Mex and BBQ establishments, she noted this was by far the spiciest dish she could remember. The menu offered no indication that the food would be so spicy.
On a positive note, the waitress was excellent, and the place has a charming atmosphere. However, considering we spent $70 including the tip, I expected a much better dining experience overall."
