"Since leaving NYC, like many of us, there is the never-ending quest to find a decent bagel, Deli on a Bagel in Pennington, NJ, exceeds expectations! First of all, the guys who now own this shop are awesome. From Brooklyn and Queens, they just GET IT. And they ALWAYS enjoy a good conversation about all things NY. You?re always greeted with enthusiasm and a smile. They did their homework?their bagels have just the right amount of crunch on the outside and deliciousness on the inside and there are dozens of choices. The sesame and the egg everything are my personal faves. Their tuna salad is awesome?on a toasted sesame with lettuce, tomato and onion is perfection (including a delightful crunchy pickle)? and their sandwiches are generous and fresh. They also have great breakfast egg sandwiches and sides. There is a fun selection of sodas and other drinks as well as treats when you?re checking out at the registers. Two thumbs up for these guys.
