"This was our second visit to Jazz Corner, and we love the entertainment. The service is excellent as well. However, the food was rather average for the price. Our appetizers, which included mussels, bruschetta, and gumbo, were disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend them. I had high hopes for the southern gumbo, but it tasted more like chili than anything else. On a positive note, the main courses were generally good, with the shrimp and grits and the ribs standing out as the highlights. The bacon-wrapped tenderloin was also tasty, although the succotash could have been better."
