Crispy shrimp coated in a tangy sweet and sour sauce, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds for a flavorful dish.

"I absolutely love this restaurant! It's very clean and has a great atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the prices are affordable. I highly recommend it if you're in the mood for some good Chinese food at a reasonable cost. We especially enjoy the crab rangoons and egg rolls, but everything we've tried has been quite delicious. I would rate the food an 8/10 and give a perfect 10/10 for everything else!"

"The food here at Mei Wei is amazing. My favorite is the sesame chicken with white rice. The chicken is very delicious, hot and crispy and I am satisfied every time. The sauce on the chicken is very delicious also. I also love the fried rice. I will come back here again in the future, I definitely recommend the sesame chicken, come here if you like sesame chicken. I have tried many Chinese restaurants and this is the best sesame chicken and Chinese food I have ever had. I have been coming here for years. All of the other food I have tried from Mei Wei other than the sesame chicken is very tasty and flavorful also. My whole family loves the food here. They make the food very good every time, I love this place!"

"I ordered a door from the place. the fried rice smells absolutely anxious, but I missed it. I got the sesam huhn because they said it was a popular product, but I regret that to bite in- easy the worst sesame huh I ever eat in the middle of the night I woke up to knock stomach pain, and I thought if I went to the toilet to relieve myself, I would feel better. I don't. my brush still smell like sulphur and there are wastes from my front and back. absolutely terrible experience how much money I spent here."

"The (milk)tea menu is amazingly quite any variety of combination that you can think, e.g. boba/jelly/pudding or even Yakult. We had Matcha latte with boba and it was so good! Menu is also huge dimming, noodle, Chinese fast food, Thai or southeast Asian delicacies, and Japanese Bento. I'd skip Sushi personally. Other dishes were delish and I will definitely try other dishes again! I've been back for 3 4 times and I'll never be disappointed! Tried mango Yakult with magi jelly and loved it. Walnut beans were also great!"

"Two Stars for the good rice. Unique rice... but good! No veggies besides onion in the rice and the strips of chicken in the rice is so good. Asked for extra spicy General's chicken and it was sweet and sour chicken with crushed peppers (never can taste). Yuk! If you have ever had good General's chicken, you won't like how bland and cheaply made this is. Otherwise, the toddlers loved the bland and THEY ate it all... the adults are still hungry."

"Sushi Sumo is your standard all-in-one restaurant that offers Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisine. There is not a particular specialty they offer so each dish is overall average. It's satisfying, comes out quick and is inexpensive but nothing crave-worthy for me. I have tried Chinese dishes, Japanese sushi and Thai food here. My most recent visit I went with the shrimp massaman curry with wonton soup. The dish was served piping hot and tasty but the wonton soup broth lacked flavor. The service is great and always attentive."

"We came here by default because China House on Theodore St. has yet to reopen their dining area. (Still great for carry out. Highly recommend their Variety Platter appetizer as you can eat this as a meal and share another entree option. We took home most of our entrees of Sweet and Sour Chicken and Beef Vegetable because the platter was plentiful!! Delicious!! Soup comes with your meal and was fresh and tasty. Slight issues with waitress understanding but take it easy and it is fine. If you can get there before 4 and order lunch it is much more economical with price for the large portions of food you receive. This is true of most Chinese restaurants. The Crab Rangoons are spectacular!! They use crab instead of the ricotta or cream cheese used by other places. Will return!!"
"I have been ordering takeout from China Wok for over five years, often several times a week. I'm thrilled that they made it through the Covid downturn. The family running the restaurant is incredibly nice and accommodating. The food is quite good, although some dishes are better than others, which I've learned through my numerous orders. If I request a dish to be less spicy or with a little less broccoli, or even if I want pork instead of chicken in the chicken noodle soup, they never have a problem accommodating my requests, and they always get it right. The soups, especially the House soup, are both delicious and healthy. The fried dumplings are fantastic. I've noticed that in the past few months, the food has only improved. If you're seeking high-end Chinese cuisine like you might find in downtown Nashville, this isn’t the place for you, which is why I didn’t give them five stars. However, if you want consistently good, reasonably priced Chinese food with generous portions, I highly recommend giving them a try."

"I had been going to Ken Wok for years and generally it was good. Sometimes I found it a little greasy, and got heartburn, but nothing more. I did find that over the course of the last 7 years the portions have really decreased. The food selections and prices were good and consistent with the area. Unfortunately I will not be going back. Two family members were sickened by the takeout dinners from Ken Wok on 1/11/2015. Dinners consisting of pork fried rice, beef teriyaki and boneless fried chicken were purchased. One family member suffered heartburn only. The other had become violently ill 5-6 hours after eating the food. He was not able to keep food down for more than a day following that. Having studied food safety and noticing the time frame the sickness occurred and the symptoms endured, it is almost certain food poisoning. The person who was sickened had only one thing different than the other person and that was boneless fried chicken. Its too bad they were not safe with their food preparation because now they lost 3 customers and possibly more."

"This is my fav Chinese food in town. You make special accommodation to my order/description. Great tofu, too. I command them every week and they are never disappointed. Large portion sizes and value for money."

"If you enjoy raw meat with a side of salmonella, you’re at the rice place! We had been getting eat rice for years. Today, they served us RAW chicken. We were told to bring the food back in order to get a refund. Once my sister brought the food in, they were disrespectful and tried to convince her that the chicken was cooked. THEY LITERALLY SAID THAT DARK MEAT IS PINK WHEN ITS COOKED. Not only did they refuse to refund the food, they proceeded to mock her when she was leaving. Eat Rice has poor customer service and questionable cleanliness. My best advice to everyone is to stay clear of this place and eat at a different Chinese restaurant that actually cares about the quality of food and customer service they provide. I’m sure that this comment along with all of the other negative reviews will be met with a defensive rebuttal from them rather than an apology. I am thoroughly disgusted and will never be eating here again."

"We dined in once and had a great experience, so we decided to try delivery. Unfortunately, our order was delivered to the wrong house across the street, despite that home having clear house numbers. They simply left the food outside. Fortunately, a neighbor noticed and called us to check if we had placed an order. The delivery driver had ripped off the receipt, so there was no way to identify who the order belonged to. We contacted the restaurant, but they didn't seem very concerned about the situation."

"Unfortunately wasn't a big fan. The food was just very bland overrall. While Chinese food tends to usually run pretty salty and flavorful, both the chow fun and Szechuan chicken I tried were lacking in spice, flavor and salt. The fried rice also was a bit soggy and didn't have nearly enough soy sauce. Food was also a tad bit pricier than the average Chinese takeout but the portions were rather generous and the food came out very quickly. If you're expecting spicy food though, this is not the place for it."

"The delivery driver was friendly, polite, and respectful. The food was carefully packaged in appropriate containers, and everything was neatly separated in the bag. They even used layers of cardboard to keep everything stable and prevent spills. I'm pleased to report that nothing leaked or was spilled, and I'm especially grateful that they didn’t use styrofoam! The food itself was freshly prepared, seasoned authentically, and the portions were just as expected. Each dish arrived hot, tasting as if we had ordered directly from the restaurant. We all agreed that every dish was delicious, which is also quite rare! They included a rice paper bag with an ample supply of standard condiments and fortune cookies, which I appreciated — it was nice to see that they were organized and didn’t just toss everything together like many other places do. A note: chopsticks were not included, and I didn’t think to check if I could request them when ordering. Luckily, I had some on hand, so it didn't matter this time. I’m attaching a screenshot of our order. I highly recommend trying the Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and fried rice!"

"The delivery was quick but it was odd that I made specific instructions to not knock on any doors or leave my food anywhere and the delivery driver only called me (even though I said call when you 're outside) because he was knocking on other people 's doors asking if they ordered delivery. Then he finally called and I came right out and he was rude and threw my food at me. Fro that alone, I 'd never order from here again and the food is just OK not good."

"Right off the bat we were greeted by Nhan our wonderful server. She made sure that we were satisfied from the start. Treated us like we were having family dinner at her place. Hubby had eggdrop soup said it was the best he's ever had. I had the vegetable soup it was amazing. Pan seared dumplings were totally authentic and OMG. Our entrees we had the salt and pepper pork loin and moo goo gui pan. Served family style. It was the best food and experience that we've had. We will definitely be back."

"I was planning to order from this restaurant for the first time, but my experience was frustrating. I called three times, and each time the woman answered with a simple "hello" but immediately hung up when I replied. It could have been a phone issue, but when I called again and she could hear me, she responded with an attitude, saying, "You called three times and didn’t say anything." I decided to let it go. There are plenty of other options in the area."

"My wife and I used to frequent here extremely regularly a decade ago. Was our favorite. We moved too far to pick up so we stopped going.Getting it for the first time today, we were excited. Unfortunately, we were let down.My chicken was the driest chicken I've ever had. It's was stringy and tasted old. I cut a piece open and there wasn't any chicken to be found??? So gross. I threw it away. The General Tso sauce was actually really good so that made the dish even more disappointing since it was not edible. My wife's boneless chicken had little to no taste. Not like she remembered. Fried rice was very mediocre.Maybe I got a bad batch? I don't know but it definitely ranked very high on the worst take out food I've ever had."
