"I grew up in Meadville and Kings was a staple on the hill, just as Perkins was, down the hill. Kings (and Perkins) are perfect representations of old Meadville. Run down, sad, understaffed, empty display shells of their former selves. Absolutely nothing against the wait staff, they were hustling as fast as they could, and I tipped accordingly. We actually went twice last week, orders were wrong both times (completely wrong sandwich, not something small). We didn 't even mention it, as it looked like 4 people were running the entire restaurant. But again, the service is not the reason for the review. The place feels like the last 30 minutes of a garage sale. Each time I return home to Meadville, Kings gets worse. The interior is not old in a charming way, it 's tired and needs gutted."
