"It had been quite a while since we last dined at Scene, so we were looking forward to enjoying some good service and food after our movie on July 7, 2023. Unfortunately, that was not the case. An employee initially mentioned he would inform our server that we had arrived at our table; however, he returned a short time later, saying, "I guess I'm your server." While he was friendly, his demeanor was quite unprofessional and overly casual when taking our order and addressing us.
Our food arrived just minutes after we ordered, which raised our suspicions. We wondered if it was fresh, pre-made, or frozen. In our opinion, it seemed likely that the food had been pre-prepared and simply reheated. Regardless, we were very disappointed. It’s clear that we won't be returning to Scene again. It’s unfortunate because it used to have a lively atmosphere, a wider variety on the menu, and genuinely good food that offered great value for the money.
To add to our dissatisfaction, it seemed like our real server was one of four or five people enjoying Domino's Pizza in a booth behind us. At that point, we wished we had opted for Domino's as well. I cannot recommend spending your hard-earned money at Scene."
