"The cafeteria-style food display and the delicious aromas will transport you right back to your Abuela’s kitchen, making it hard not to order one of everything! The servers are friendly and happy to explain the various dishes, so don't hesitate to ask questions. One of the best features is that you don’t have to choose just one dish for your plate! Instead, you can select a variety of items. For example, you could enjoy a plate with Guisado de Res (savory stewed beef) alongside Pollo con Mole (chicken in mole sauce), all served with your choice of corn or flour tortillas. There’s also a separate menu for other options.
On weekends, they offer Menudo, as well as chicken soup, Fideo (my personal favorite), and beef soup. The prices are quite reasonable, making it a must-try spot when you’re in Chicago! After your meal, you'll definitely want to take a nice long walk, so be sure to check out the grocery store next to the parking lot. It’s filled with a variety of goodies, meats, fresh produce, and great prices. I could easily spend an hour there just browsing through all the different spices and food delicacies—it's a treasure for food lovers!"
