"I don’t usually give any negative reviews, but I will have to say I was deeply disappointed with our experience this evening. We ordered via phone and picked up a to-go order. We were charged almost $40 for 6 asada tacos. When I asked how much they were, they told me it was over $6 per taco. That’s nuts! We requested no onion on the tacos due to a food preference and when we got back home, they were slathered with onions and bland beans. We spent 10 minutes picking out onions. They were very over priced and tasted terrible. The other meal we purchased was adequate, but nothing I would recommend. $60 wasted for two meals we ended up not finishing. Would not recommend."

"Food was so so the actual meal that I wanted. They were out of the meat for the fajita and so I was really disappointed and he gave me some tacos instead with some salted beef I think it was and that contains cilantro and I believe onion which is fine with me along with lime. Unfortunately, I did not come on the most busiest of days on a Monday which normally a lot of Mexican restaurants are closed in that particular day anyway, but I was actually going to get a burrito at Neato burrito. However they will close that day"

"We ate there today and the service and food was great. The only thing that ruined our whole experience, was the urine smell coming from the restroom. It was nauseating. It's a shame that they would not do a better job of restroom sanitizing. It was aneat establishment, with good food and great wait staff, but that nauseous smell would keep me from wanting to return. Ismelled it when I walked in the front door, so it wasn't like it was contained to the restroom. I wasn't sure if it was justmold or a sewer smell, but I confirmed what it was, when I went to wash my hands. I hope they correct this before I try them onemore time."

"There's a lot of competition in Central American restaurants in the area, but La Promesa goes above and beyond of the competition.The place is a chill restaurant/marketplace with breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings. "I won't order again from there again that is for sure. I made an order for delivery because I was sick with COVID. My point is that I didn't got what I order and they still charge me for it and there was one item I deleted and I still got it with my order. The tacos al pastor they weren't that great I had better than those tacos. Instead of delivering in a foam plate like every delivery restaurants do. They just put it with aluminum foil and a paper bag. For that I would give them a 10). I don't know why they need a star if they don't even deserve that either."

"They drastically increased their prices while decreasing the portion sizes. I received only 1/8 of a lemon and just five onion pieces. There was also a very small amount of lettuce on my quesadilla. After two years of dining here, I won't be returning. It's frustrating to see such a rise in prices along with a decline in the quality and quantity of the food."

"To start, there were no complimentary chips. When I arrived around 12:30 PM, I asked for Huevos con Papa y Chorizo, but was told they don’t serve breakfast all day. I then requested two tacos: one Carne Asada and one Guisado de Bistec, only to be informed that they were out of Guisado de Bistec. How do they run out of that so early in the day? I settled for two Carne Asada tacos instead and requested a bottled Coke, but was told they only had cans available. The food itself was decent—not terrible, but certainly disappointing. Overall, it was just okay at best. In summary, everything I wanted was unavailable, and there were no complimentary chips. Honestly, I would have been happier eating at McDonald's."

"Me and my friend stopped in last week out of curiosity and Rolando Tacos didn't disappoint. The carne asada was tasty and cooked well, while the burrito held together well enough for me to steal a bite from my friend's plate. The service was welcoming and our little waiter was very helpful in bringing us our chips and salsa. The restaurant is family-owned and well-priced, which will keep me coming back."

"I was extremely disappointed with this restaurant. It was empty and we were hoping for authentic Honduran food, but it was a mistake to come here. The food was mediocre at best. The pollo con tajadas was overly greasy and the pollo seemed to be grilled instead of fried as expected. The carne asada especial was pricey at $18.50 and the steak was too salty with very little meat. The dessert, duvalin, was overpriced at $3.75 for 1 serving, as I could easily get it for much cheaper at a Mexican market. The service was also subpar, with the waiter only coming to our table once after we had finished eating. To top it off, the restaurant smelled like gas and the kitchen was not properly ventilated, making the whole place very smoky. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I will not be returning. It's no surprise the restaurant was empty - as my grandfather used to say, "Never visit an empty restaurant." I guess he was right."

"I’ve been to a number of restaurants in my lifetime. Very few are truly an experience. Very few actually provide better than average service. So I am compelled to talk about our experience for my birthday last night. I was very worried upon arriving to a non discript strip mall on Manchester just west of Clarkson to see a rather unpretentious front that almost looked closed with a sign that said “a culinary experience”. From the time we opened the door and was greeted by the hostess we were transported to one of the best culinary experiences I have ever had. Everything was perfect! The staff all of them were clearly happy to be there and wanted to make sure we had the best service ever and they succeeded. They were there when we needed them and they were not there when we didn’t. I read a review that complained about the prices. Well, when we looked at the menu it seemed a bit pricey. I was wrong. You do get what you pay for. Malinche truly delivers value. Our meal from beginning to end was fabulous. I’m sure it was the best Mexican meal I have ever had, both the presentation and the incredibly delicious taste. My culinary taste buds were firing for the entire meal. This is a must go to restaurant. Make a reservation as they were completely booked last night for dinner and I bet they are often so. It is well worth the trek to far west county and I will be returning soon. Awesome everything! They succeeded in providing a culinary experience.
