"The michelada mix was one of the best we’ve ever had. The chips and salsa may seem like a simple appetizer, but I have to mention them because the heat from the chili builds pleasantly on the back of your palate. The variety of chilaquiles options made me feel like a kid in a candy store. The quality of the food was excellent. My family and I don't typically eat Tex-Mex, as my wife is a second-generation from Jalisco, Mexico, and can be quite critical of authentic Mexican cuisine. However, she loved everything, especially her barbacoa tacos. As long as the quality remains consistent, we will definitely be coming back."

"Beans where good. But personally I absolutely hate when my green Chile is soupy. Why is my tamale floating in what looks like water and slices of green chille. I asked for over medium egg. And there was lots of white uncooked. The tamale would have been good but the meat inside was WAY to spicy and not a good flavor. The color of it just looks over spiced. And I love spicy food. But for being a Mexican place... you can tell when they serve this soupy green chille they are not authentic. Atleast drain it a bit or blend it.. The yoak and green chille water and tamale was just not a good mix."

"I dined in here with my date and kids. Our server was very pleasant and kind. Being that it was a Saturday evening it was very busy. There was a wait between ordering that lasted around 20 minutes. "Came in today with my daughter and her service dog to get a burrito and clear up a misunderstanding. Fred was very gracious and understanding.We got the Bacon, egg, and potato burrito and the steak, egg and potato burrito with the added chili and cheese. It took less than five minutes to get our burritos. The ratio of potato, bacon, and egg were just right. Though, next time, I will be getting the add-on of chili and cheese. My daughter had no complaints, other than she didn't get two burritos instead of just one.There are a variety of drinks that are offered, and I didn't see the pricing on them to comment, but I did see there is an extensive variety. You will be pleased. I will be purchasing my drinks from Mr. Fred on my next visit.I was impressed with the pricing on the menu. Everything is very affordable while still having quality products. You don't see that from many business these days.I wholeheartedly recommend Maria's to anyone.
