"Wonderful delicious amazing food!! Wow, everything is so well made. From the appetizers, to dessert, nothing bad about it. Make sure to have the chocolate cake, so smooth and rich, it'll be gone before you know it. The rack of lamb was a punch of flavor, wish there could be more vegetables, but so good Update: food is still amazing and delicious. "We were three adults with two (well dressed and well behaved) children at 5 p.m. on a Sunday. The restaurant was half empty and the rude hostess pushed us to a high bar table between a gas station and the kitchen door. According to someone other than the hostess, they were taken to a normal table. The staff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. The service took forever, the orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it had been hit with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were amazing."

"I came here for my anniversary. When I was getting the reservation, I wrote that I had wanted them to bring out a crème brûlée and happy anniversary written on the plate. I had also seen my comment when the hostess looked at my reservation. When we arrived it took 15 minutes for someone to come to the table. (Place was not packed. The food honestly could 've been better for $28 each plate. Overall, maybe it was a bad day to go but I expected better service and for them to at least look at my comment on the reservation."

"We have been coming to Pine Tavern for years. We had patio seating and the temp. was perfect with a mild breeze. We were a party of 6. The Rueben sandwich was very dry.....not much 1,000 Island dressing. One person in our party ordered ginger ale and when he asked for a refill, he was not informed that the ginger ale was not a free refill and charged them for a second drink. We all felt that the server should have explained that this is from the bar and not a free refill. Other than that, we had a very nice time together."

"I have eaten twice at this restaurant in the past few months. All in all, it's pretty good. This place has an upscale vibe, and is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I and my dining companions haven't been too adventurous with the menu (sticking with thin-crust pizza and salad on both occasions), but all of us liked our food and the wines by the glass as well. The restaurant is attractive and very close to the bay. My only complaint is that the background music (on both occasions) was unnecessarily loud and the selection of music is unusually boisterous. I'm not sure why dance-oriented music needs to be blasting in an Italian-oriented restaurant (although the server courteously lowered the volume after I asked him to). If they played light jazz (or some other lower-key music) at a lower volume in the background, this place would project a much more professional ambiance to me."

"Despite my request for a quiet table being disregarded, I had a positive experience at this restaurant. As someone who is hearing impaired but currently does not use hearing aids, I was unfortunately seated in the same room as a large dinner party and under a spotlight, making it difficult to read my server's lips. However, after I asked, he kindly dimmed the lights which greatly improved my experience. Despite the initial challenges, I enjoyed my meal and appreciated the attentive service."

"I was thoroughly impressed with this restaurant from the moment I walked in. The food was incredible; we shared the spinach ravioli and the Madeo Penne, both of which were delightful. We enjoyed appetizers, drinks, main courses, and dessert, and everything was superb. The service was exceptional, with at least two attendants assigned to each table, ensuring that we never had an empty plate or glass. The owner made rounds to check on guests, and his son did the same, adding a touch of humor to the experience. I will definitely return the next time I’m in town. Oh, and by the way, Sylvester Stallone was seated at the table next to us!"
