"Our first experience of Woodlake Tavern was pretty wonderful. We had never been and wanted to try for my sisters birthday. I love that their menu has a good variety but isn’t so big that you can’t decide. They have small plates and sides to order so you don’t have to order one giant entree and maybe get something you don’t like or won’t even eat because it’s too much food~ The old fashioned with woodford is delicious. Everything was yummy and cooked perfectly...but we didn’t order burgers or steak so We’ll have to try it next time. Our server was wonderful and always very attentive when we needed her. Mac and cheese tastes like my moms homemade. Taco pizza was really yummy. Ambience was peaceful and calm even though they were pretty busy. I like a little calmness. They have a little fire pit with a couch and waterfall so if you are waiting for dinner or a table...it’s a great little chill area to hang out for a bit. I’ll definitely be going back."
