"First, I want to emphasize that Mexican cuisine ranks among my top three favorite foods, so it truly disappoints me to feel let down by a well-established spot in the community. With that said, this restaurant definitely needs some improvement. The ambiance is a bit too dim for my liking, although it is still comfortable enough. The freshly made tortillas are undoubtedly the highlight of the menu, closely followed by the chips and salsa. This isn't my first visit, and while the food has generally been mediocre, today I tried a chicken taco that was over-fried and the shredded chicken was both dry and tasteless. The refried beans and rice weren't worth the calories either. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning."
