"We both ordered entrees and drinks, but we received our food before our margaritas, which was a bit odd. As for the dishes, they were quite standard—typical Tex-Mex fare. The queso was overloaded with cream and didn’t taste like authentic queso at all. I wasn't impressed. My margarita tasted more like juice than anything else. Overall, it was a lackluster experience."

"We have been customers for over 10years and never disappointed. The chimichangas are only stuffed with meat and cheese, the chili rellenos, flautas, tacos, you name it are great. We love too how the rice is simple Spanish rice, the beans are homemade and the chips are always fresh. We have never tried anything that we do not like. Its worth the big markup from DoorDash on pricing."

"Very disappointing experience. I have eaten at their Menlo Park location for many years. This was my first and last time at the San Carlos location. I ordered veggie fajitas. The veggies were NOT seasoned at all, and were not grilled, so they had no flavor. I’m not sure how they were cooked. They did not serve the typical sides you normally get with fajitas. NO crema or guacamole. Only gave me 4 taco sized tortillas and 3 small to go plastic containers with different salsas, which was not enough for an order of fajitas. I went to order more and they wanted to charge me for it. I decided not to pay more for items that should have been provided, especially since the meal was not good at all and was already expensive. We went there around 7:00PM to eat. They started to immediately clean up the cooking/kitchen area after we were served our food, which seemed too early. Vegetarian options: Not much to offer for vegetarians."

"I genuinely wanted to enjoy the queso fundido! Unfortunately, the cheese was so thick that when I tried to scoop some out, it all came out in one big mass. However, Anna was very kind and brought me some queso cheese, which was much better. My husband ordered the burrito, while my friends chose the nachos and the California burrito, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The salsa is fantastic—definitely the best around! The drinks were also good! As for parking, there are two great restaurants in this plaza. I visited on a Saturday around 7:00 PM and managed to get one of just three available spots; it was really crowded!"

"The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well."

"Always a reliable choice with quick service, even though the vibe is more homestyle. They offer some unique options, including their fantastic French fries. The Carne Asada fries are a great deal for a generous portion. I also tried a Chorizo and French fry burrito, and it was delicious. My only complaint? The drive-thru PA system outside is terrible; I can hardly hear what the person inside is saying. They should definitely consider fixing that."

"I can ONLY vouch for what I had! But that padialliralaria (I can't never say or spell it right) mixed grilled meat, for one was really good! They give you a good amount that makes you full and have left overs! It comes with a cute mini quesadilla on it and one grilled jalapeño! Now the lemon pepper wings, though!!!! I know it's a Mexican spot but you gotta get them! I don't even like lemon pepper wings but their sauce is really good, fresh and crispy. The chips and salsa was decent not the best but not the worst- the guacamole was good too, it had a lemon twang that made my mouth water up! I definitely say give them a try because Mexican food here in Georgia is usually DISGUSTING AND DISRESPECTFUL!!!!"

"We have visited a couple times now and have had 2 really great experiences. The server was very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. There were deals on tacos, flautas, and enchiladas and all were good and well worth the price. Added bonus, the beer was ice cold. First visit was a Friday and we had a bit of a wait, maybe 15 minutes and the second was on a Monday, no wait. Nice size booths and if you like the bar looked pretty welcoming too!"

"Worst El Cerro to eat at!!! Do not eat at this location ! They charge the same prices as the other locations and give you WAY WAY LOW Quality items ! The meat taste very weird like it was bought out the dollar tree next to them ! Very smushed and grainy ! Very horrible ! They charge extra for cheese that is supposed to actually go on the items that other locations have ! There was only ONE table seated at lunch time in there and the beans were grey like they were old ! Wish I would have not wasted my money here ! I will NEVER eat at this location at Carolina Forest EVER again!! I hope I don’t get food poisoning! Most disgusting Mexican food I have ever had from this location! Never had this experience at the others . Don’t go to this one ! Whoever manages this one or owns this one needs to be fired ! ?"
