"I recently visited a restaurant that was formerly known as Palace of Asia, now called Urban Spice. Despite the name change, the food was incredibly delicious and the service was exceptional. The only downsides were the repetitive elevator music playing for 45 minutes and the bland dining area that resembled a newly renovated hotel restaurant. However, I did appreciate the large round tables that could accommodate 10 people. Overall, it was a great experience and I look forward to returning."

"We've been to Kohinoor and think it's the best Indian restaurant in the area. The restaurant is attractive and service is attentive and unrushed. The real attraction is the food. They have a wide ranging Indian menu that offers all the cuisine's top hits. The food is fresh and cooked to order. Their sauces have layers of flavors which are delicious with their amazing breads. They've recently expanded their menu and are offering some new dishes. I tried a shrimp appetizer at our last visit and absolutely loved it. I'm eager to go back and explore more of those new dishes. Lastly, Alan is a great manager who checks in with his guests and offers suggestions but never intrudes on the meal. We will be back."

"I recently visited Palace of Asia, a wonderful Indian restaurant that I have been to many times before. My teenage children and I savored the chicken tikka masala and navratan korma, along with tasty naan, puri, and aloo paratha. Everything was delicious. We always end up eating too much here, but we still take home leftovers that we argue over for lunch the next day. My son typically sticks to the chicken from the American menu, but this time he tried the chicken kabobs and really liked them. It's a great place for both large and small groups."

"So my girlfriend and I have now been here twice. Both times now we had Sam (server) twice. Two months since we last visited and he remembered us! He was amazing! He’s extremely personable with his guests and makes you feel welcomed and not like a guest! He recommended some delicious food and cocktails too. A lot of people are missing out on a delicious and savory meal and need to come! If I could give more stars, I would! I will be back soon! "We enjoyed the Sunday lunch buffet for $20, and it was absolutely delicious. The vegetarian options included palak corn, malai paneer, kadhi, and dal makhani, while the non-vegetarian selections featured chicken curry, tandoori chicken, and biryani chicken. There was also raita and chutney available to accompany the tikka and pakora appetizers. For dessert, we tried the lychee halwa (a bit unusual) and kheer (which was just okay). The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, with a great ambiance that many Indian restaurants lack. In terms of service, we found it to be very good; the waitstaff promptly cleared our plates."

"Tried this for the first time today. After a long night and craving some tasty Indian food, we found out our usual place was closed. This is much closer and I am so glad we tried it! Here 's what we ordered: Chicken Curry $18.95 Medium $0.00 This one was a little disappointing in terms of portion size it was a lot of sauce and not much chicken. However the dish itself tasted great! Garlic Naan GN x 2 $8.00 Naan is fresh, garlicky and a smidge chewy but not in a bad way. Less fluffy, more stretchy, if that makes sense Mix Vegetable Curry Vegan $17.95 Spicy $0.25 Tasty, good portion, nice variety of veggies Baingan Bhurta vegan $17.95 Medium $0.00 This is an eggplant dish, and I loved it! I was looking for something similar to this stuffed eggplant dish I get and this was similar, and very very good. Comes with yogurt sauce on this side. Good size portion. Chicken Dum Biryani $16.95 Spicy $0.25 HEFTY!! Great for the price. The chicken is bone on, but that so it adds flavor. The spice is right for sure! I would say this is like Indian fried rice . Lots of flavor lots of stuff really really good. I chose the spiciest version and it 's the perfect amount of heat if you like spicy. A little too hot for him, but I really enjoyed it. Saag Aloo curry ALU $17.95 Medium $0.00 By far my favorite. Yes it 's green, but if you like spinach and potatoes, you 're gonna love it. Good portion here as well. Aloo Kale Tikki 3 Pcs $6.95 I wasn 't the biggest fan of these. They are sweet in flavor. My boyfriend really liked them. They 're little potato and kale patties with a type of chutney esque sauce on top. You get three to an order, which is a little up there. We did a take out order, and picked it up. Inside was nice and smelled great. You can sit down or take out, there are servers if you want to dine in. The owner who gave us our order was extremely personable and helpful! I think we found another great Indian spot! The only downside is that it 's more expensive than our usual place. It is also odd that they charge more for spice level, but we did like it a lot. I know that this type of cuisine takes an eternity to make, and there are a lot of ingredients but it is certainly up there price wise."

"No doubts at all, food is excellent. But the day we visited it was super busy and only 2 waiters among approximately 10 tables. Though they were trying their best. Hopefully managers can have more waiters during those busy times. No one at the front counter when we arrived. Waiter there for about 10 minutes for someone to show up. This restaurant does take open table reservation but the person who showed up at desk told us they don’t have any reservation from us. Glad the wait time was only 12-15 minutes."

"stopped in at Bombay Velvet having made an Open Table reservation for dinner en route to Dulles Airport to pick up our daughter that's all by way of saying we were thinking of a good one course meal to have instead, due to the holiday season, the restaurant only had a five course prix fixe at $85 more food and more money than we were anticipating it should have been more clearly stated on Open Table or at the very least by the hostess before seating us. It was a bit awkward as we had already ordered drinks and didn't feel we could just walk out once it was clear there was no a la carte option. Having said that, the food was absolutely delicious, and I would most definitely return happy to do the prix fixe if I would choose to do it in advance, but also excited to explore an a la carte menu. Bombay Velvet is elevated Indian and I look forward to a next opportunity. (BTW fabulous vegetarian choices)"

"Good food, we're new Indian food, but really enjoyed it. Service was fast and friendly. 7 out of ten was not really so sharp on the palate, but I could feel the fire in my stomach. We tried 2 of the full meal options. The chicken and lamb curry were very tasteful. We're coming back! We went back, got Curry chickens and Masala chickens. They are larger portions than the combo, more chicken. We both got 7 spices and thought to try 10 next time. We like it hot! Oh, the flavors were incredible! Service is always fast and friendly!"

"Went here for dinner, and had two entrees to share as well as an order of Samosa. The Samosa was delicious, especially the spice mix they dusted the outside with, and the chutneys were so bright and the flavor was incredible. The entrees I tried were the Chana Masala and Bhuteko Kauli which is a cauliflower dish with Nepalese spices. Both were surprisingly light and the flavors of the Bhutako were so vibrant. Unfortunately the waiter wasn't knowledgeable about which items were vegan and there was a language barrier for sure. He asked a colleague and they brought a menu that they had circled the vegan options on which was very nice, but I wish I had looked at the menu online because there were more options, and they were clearly marked. Too bad; missed opportunity for sure."

"My family adores this restaurant! Everyone leaves satisfied. "Despite still being on Open-table as a currently open, available eat in restaurant, it was not! Upon arrival we were greeted by upturned chairs on all the tables, and an owner who greeted us COVID-19, protection free! (MASKLESS). My wife and I told him we had made a reservation on the open-table app, to which he responded, “not open for dine in, take out only, big fines”. We told him he should make note on open-table of his current position, and we left to find an establishment that was open for a sit down restaurant experience. If anyone would like to know the restaurant that was open, and we were able to walk right into with no reservation, it was Fat Rosies in Naperville . Thanks Fat Rosies, ur restaurant is awesome!"

"The food is so expensive! Just for 1 paneer dish, idli vada combo and Chana bhatura I paid 40 bucks. Not only that they forgot to include the button on for which I had paid already! And then, when I open my meduvada, guess what I see, each medu vada each 1 inch diameter. I would recommend to down in as in carry out they skimp on quantity! Paneer and chole was bland no spice at all."

"Our experience at Rooh was not the optimum best. For starters, inspite of a reservation, we ended up waiting for a table for mins,. The hostess, then temporarily sat us at a table by the entrance that was dark and dingy looking, promising us a better table. Finally after another mins she moved us to a table that was no better , in a darker corner of the restaurant, with a view of the Kitchen whose door kept getting opened and slammed all the time. We were celebrating our anniversary, which w e mentioned and asked the hostess to seat us at other end of the restaurant, but she made no effort to even try, citing the space restrictions. We ended up waiting for a long time till someone stopped by the table to let us know that we could scan the QR code to look at the menu. By this time we were thoroughly disappointed in the service of this restaurant and really lost our appetite. The only saving grace was the exceptional cashew cake dessert that managed to salvage the evening somehow. For a highly rated restaurant, this was a disappointment when it came to service."

"I recently ordered catering from Tamarind Greentree for an event and was truly impressed by the exceptional dining experience. The Malabar Chicken Curry was a standout dish, featuring tender, juicy chicken cooked to perfection in a rich, flavorful sauce. The spices were perfectly balanced, and the portion size was generous. The Veg Kurma was also a hit, with a delicious blend of vegetables in a creamy, slightly sweet sauce that paired perfectly with the naan. The vegetables were cooked just right, maintaining their crunch. Every time I have dined in at Tamarind Greentree, the service has been attentive and the staff knowledgeable about the menu. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of the food. In conclusion, Tamarind Greentree is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine. The Malabar Chicken Curry, Veg Kurma, Chicken 65, and Bahubali Biriyani are all must-try dishes! Will I be returning? Absolutely, and I'll be bringing friends along next time!"

Last night I ordered take out, only to come home and realize they hadn 't included the raita, and also forgot to include one of my favorite sauces! : : Ironic, too, as the cashier exclaimed that I had ordered a lot of food! :P The *best* deal is to dine in, because then tea is included, as well as those papadum chips which are not included when you order take out. "I was in an Indian movie, so I decided to have a great Indian brunch. the movie was long so I really appreciated that the restaurant was open until 15:00. it was 2:00 when I arrived, and there were still many delicious offers at the buffet. actually there were so many different types of dressed that I couldn't taste them all! what gave me a food was one of them plant chow mine! an Indian feedbuffet! as well as always, the normal standards that I love not disappointed, butter huhn, tandoori huhn, papdum, all were excellent! also loved the cheerful and carrots halwa dessert. I will return definitiw after passage to india if I happen to be in the neighbourhood. otherwise it is a destination from san jose to mountain view, about 20 mi."

I was a clean platter for sure!I can 't remember the names of the dishes, but the meat in our dishes, CHEF 'S KISS cooked to perfection. I had chicken in my dish, my son had lamb and our friend had goat. I had a taste of all 3 and they were all divine in their own unique smell and taste!The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, service wasn 't bad but wasn 't anything above and beyond to win me over to say it was great. It was your basic food industry service. We will be back for sure though"
