"Our waitress claimed that all the food was good but couldn't make any recommendations. When we asked about the drinks, she informed us they were listed on the menu but didn't know the specifics. She even discouraged us from ordering boba, saying it would melt within minutes and lose its flavor. To add to the confusion, she mentioned that if we wanted soda, we could grab it from a refrigerator on the other side of the restaurant, which we couldn't even see.
Additionally, the service was lacking; the waitress was not courteous and spent more time on her phone than tending to us. She never asked how our food was. The overall cleanliness was off-putting—dusty lights, air vents, and tables propped up with packets of Sweet 'n Low. The walls had missing paint, and while she cleaned a nearby table, she left rice on it that I could easily see from two tables away.
The booths desperately need reupholstering. As for the food, the orange chicken and Massaman curry were both lacking in flavor, and the peanut sauce was coagulated instead of smooth. The presentation was poor, with sauces and curries spilling over the edges of the bowls and plates. I was also concerned about chipped bowls, which could pose a food safety risk if a customer accidentally ingests any glass.
I genuinely don’t know why I stayed, as I knew better. Sometimes you just have to take a stand and walk away. I won’t be returning here, and I’ll turn around at the next restaurant that looks even remotely similar."
