"A random visit to this restaurant turned to be a wonderful evening here. The ambience is good and this facility has a lot of seating indoor and outdoor. Our server was really nice and infact everyone in the staff was. We ordered the pineapple and the melon margaritas, wouldn't recommend as it's mostly syrup instead of the fruits you are better off ordering the standard margaritas. The guacamole was really creamy and the quantity was really really good and freshly made. The vegetable stir fry would be a recommended dish for vegetarians as it tasted really good. Pescado frita was a fried tilapia fish with the two sides of your choice. The fish was not seasoned well and was too oily. For dessert we had the tres leech cake and it was a little tight but flavourful. Would definitely recommend this place!"

"My boyfriend and I have been living in Conway for about four months now, and we realized we hadn't tried any Mexican restaurants yet. After reading some reviews, we decided to give one a shot, and I'm glad we did! I really enjoyed it. The service was excellent—quick but not rushed, with waitstaff who seemed very efficient. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were impressive for the price. We even had to take some leftovers home! I will definitely be returning for a cervezita!"

"We had a fantastic evening filled with delicious food, drinks, and outstanding service. We were celebrating my 60th birthday, and the staff surprised me with a sombrero to wear, along with ice cream and a rendition of "Happy Birthday." It was a lot of fun! "My mother always said if you can't say anything nice, it's best to stay quiet. If you don’t enjoy Mexicali Fresh Mex Grill, then perhaps it’s best not to return. Not everyone will have a wonderful experience. I've visited this restaurant with my family many times, and it hasn't always been pleasant. However, everyone is human, and nobody is perfect. I just wanted to express my thoughts. A big thank you to all the hardworking Mexican Americans who come to this country without expecting handouts, especially when some customers born here seem to have that expectation. The menu at Mexicali Fresh Mex Grill offers a variety of options, and it's worth checking out."

"Where to begin? I went with a table of 5. Three of us have worked in the service industry, so we understand how it all works. We went on a very dead Saturday night- and it took about 10 minutes for drinks- only one beer and one mixed drink, and 3 sodas. After that it took about 10 minutes to place our orders- never got the cheese dip we asked for. Some of the food came out wrong, and the lady that ordered the food that came out wrong was then charged for the items missing from what the menu said it came with. Absolutely absurd! The rice had super hard pieces in it, our table needed refills, and it was like our server didn’t care at all. Everything we said was forgotten and we had to ask for it multiple times- even the checks were brought out incorrectly. Not sure what was wrong, but our server was completely off of her game, but blamed it on everyone else (the girl who took our drinks initially and the cooks). I know I won’t be back. WAY too many other great Mexican restaurants in Conway."

"Excellent food. Everything is fresh, well seasoned and perfectly paired to order. The staff is pleasant, polite and accommodating, without being "beautiful". The atmosphere is what you expect from a Mexican restaurant. Not really a 'romantic' friendly setting, but perfect for an afternoon together or casual dinner. The restaurant is very clean, cozy and comfortable. The margaritas are amazing and it is worth stopping only for those. The food is slightly expensive for Mexicans, but the quality and portion is there, so it is worth the money. Best Mexican restaurant in both valleys. Very recommended"

"Update... still one of my favorites in Central MA. Awesome birthday dinner. Living relatively close by, I had wanted to try this place for awhile. Simply one of my favorite central MA restaurants now. The service was excellent... the food even better. Bright colors and Mexican artwork complete the very comfortable environment. We had taquitos, enchiladas, tamales, chili rellenos, and shredded chicken nachos. Salsa was unbelievable... they serve 2 varieties with chips. Thank you for a great family dinner!"

"The food is typically good- but not on May 5th- extremely swamped with people, the queso came back cool, and like water!!! The waitress took forever to get us, we were there over 2 hours to just get some chips and dinner. We also asked for a side of Guac that we didn't get, but was still charged for it. At that point we just paid because we were already there for so long- we wanted out. I ordered a margarita, with sugar around the rim and got nothing. The waitress was very rushy, felt like I wasn't able to speak up about my meal."

"We experienced excellent service at this restaurant; the staff was incredibly nice, helpful, and friendly. Unfortunately, the food and drinks fell short. The margarita was overwhelmingly filled with orange liqueur, making it unpleasant to drink. We ordered the tableside guacamole, but it was disappointing—too chunky and not flavorful. The guacamole that came with our meal from the kitchen was actually better. The fajitas were the biggest letdown. I tend to judge places based on the sizzle factor; if they don't come out sizzling, it’s a mark against them. These fajitas arrived barely warm, featuring thick pieces of chicken that were oddly peppery. Even the peppers and onions were undercooked. The only highlight was the queso. Overall, we won’t be returning."

"This Mexican restaurant is fantastic. It's hard to come across a good Mexican restaurant in Lower Westchester, so I was thrilled when I found this one. I highly recommend it.
