"It goes without saying that there are many good bakeries in New Orleans. But I think La Boulangerie in uptown near the zoo is the best. The croissants are just a bit more perfectly crusty and flakey than others I've sampled here. I prefer mine with just butter but if you've never had it before try the muscadine jelly as well."
