"It has been a few years since we last dined at this restaurant. The menu has become more limited and seems to have shifted from fine dining to more casual pub fare. The strip steak I ordered was decent, cooked to perfection at medium rare, but nothing extraordinary. The brats and mashed potatoes left something to be desired in terms of presentation; the dish was lacking in color and visual appeal. The bratwurst reminded me of a hot dog, though the mashed potatoes and sauerkraut were tasty. The ambiance of the restaurant is still pleasant. It was too chilly for patio seating during our visit, but I’ve always enjoyed it there in the past."
