"I have patronized this Indian restaurant since 2002 and loved their (pre covid) weekday lunch buffets, which has been discontinued in the era of the covid pandemic. What brings me back over the years is the exquisitely prepared, well seasoned and tasty cuisine from different parts of India, as well as the wonderful and welcoming hospitality of the Patels. Vegetarians will find a wide range of vegetarian options. I love their vegetarian thali. For this review, my dining companion and I came for our first in person post covid lockdown dinner and ordered our favorites see accompanying photos. The masala chai has the perfect balance of Indian black tea, milk, and cardamom. The vegetarian mulligatawny soup (also available with chicken) is my favorite Indian comfort food soup a hearty South Asian/Tamil soup of lentils, tomatoes, and spices. The curry chicken has the right balance of coconut milk and curry spices and tastes perfect with the naan and paratha (unleavened whole wheat) bread. The tandoori chicken is their signature dish and is tender, juicy, and mouthwatering. For dessert, the kheer (rice pudding with milk and cardamom) is my dining companion's favorite while I love the kulfi (made with sweetened milk and pistachios, slowly cooked and then quicky frozen). It is a testament to the excellent food that keeps me coming back regularly for more since 2002 to the present (2021). I have eaten in so many Indian restaurants in North America, Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia, and I am so proud to say that Tandoor's offerings are as authentic as it gets, without the Americanization."

"I had been to this restaurant previously many times and used to be a regular customer despite the serve being at times incredibly slow because it was close and the food was good but had only interacted with one of the owners. The other owner was so disrespectful along with the bartender. They actually cursed at us which is inexcusable. They quickly denied doing so when onlookers on Thur busy west Randolph street began to stare at them though the busy boy who was the only one polite enough to apologize and onlookers on the street along with the two of us had heard them. They tried to tell us we had to leave with no warning that we are shutting down we will give you five minutes to finish the drinks you still have. We just asked for a few minutes or a return or the drinks and of course basic kindness and politeness. Then we were told they would call the politics on us. Which they did not do because what could they call the police for everyone on the street saw that we did nothing wrong to deserve third rudeness. I am not sure if we treated so badly because we look different and dared to ask them for a few minutes or at least to not be rude after a tip that was over percent for a dollar meal. Our date was ruined. This is and the service industry is about politeness and service. Not to mention regular business is hard to come by in COVID times. Because it was one of the owners I am pretty sure nothing will be done but customers should know as should others owners and investors. Thank you for your time."

"We love Aditi! We eat here 2-4x per month and have been coming here for over 9 years! Food is excellent and the service matches the level of food. My son always looks for Albert (pictured) and gives him a hug, but the entire staff is fantastic! Our waters are always filled as they are attentive about that and we leave happy and full. Eating at Aditi is how we celebrate making through another work week! Recommended dishes are: butter chicken, tandoori chicken, and saag but all dishes on the menu are delish! I also recommend the lunch buffet (Wednesday-Sunday I believe) as it is the BEST ever! My kid can be pretty picky about food, but Aditi is his favorite restaurant! Thank you to the Aditi team for being a staple in our lives, we love you (especially Alex)!!"

"We were excited to try Pia's Kitchen Indian Cuisine based on the positive reviews, but our experience a few months ago was disappointing. We ordered several dishes, and all fell short of expectations. The chicken and lamb curries were watery and bland, with tough meat that seemed either undercooked or of poor quality. The tandoori chicken tasted like it had been reheated in a microwave, resulting in a rubbery texture. The naan was overly thick, with undercooked edges, and the rice was surprisingly poor—it's hard to believe an Indian restaurant could miss the mark on rice. Overall, we were dissatisfied and do not plan to return."

"This is the best restaurant we've discovered in San Antonio so far; it’s a bit on the pricey side, but we absolutely love the flavors. We ordered their special-sized paratha, ginger chicken with naan, a chicken boti wrap, and nihari. Everything was delicious, and the naan was incredibly buttery and fluffy, which is why we keep ordering it to enjoy with chai for breakfast. When you visit, don’t miss out on the paratha—it's so big that it’s hard to finish in one sitting, but it’s absolutely worth it!"
