"You might be asking, "Emily, what makes Kobe so special for you?" Well, let me tell you—it’s absolutely fantastic. Have you seen the retro carpet in this place? It gives off this euphoric, dreamy vibe that’s just so comforting. But enough about the cool flooring; let’s talk about the food.
If you’re at Kobe, you absolutely must try the spicy tuna roll with extra crunch on top (it’s just an extra dollar). Seriously, what are you doing if you’re not ordering this? I’ve been a loyal fan of that roll every time I visit. I’ve celebrated every birthday here with my family and have taken all my boyfriends and dates here—mostly so they could treat me... just kidding, I’ve paid a few times too, especially when I had government money coming in, but that’s a whole other story.
The service here is fast and friendly. One time, my ex-boyfriend and I—who were regulars—were eating here, and our server closed the curtains at our booth to give us a more intimate dining experience. How nice was that?
So, seriously, you have to check this place out. Go once, twice, a hundred times—trust me! The booths are super comfy. Don’t forget to get the spicy tuna roll with crunch, and make sure to dip it in the yum yum sauce and soy sauce. The yum yum sauce is the best I’ve ever had!
Also, side note: I promise I’m not being dramatic; this is all true, and I genuinely love this place. The water features, goldfish, the ambiance, and even the forks are cool! Plus, it’s right next to one of the best movie theaters ever! It’s such a great combo for a date—I’ve done it many times.
Another quick note: Cub Foods grocery store is also nearby. So if you have dinner here and then catch a movie, you can grab snacks at Cub for the show. You’re welcome!
Have a great day, everyone! (P.S. One downside: it could use a good dusting, especially the ceiling fans. Much love, sincerely, Kobe’s biggest fan. Also, don't forget the miso soup, edamame, and fried rice—beef or veggie, with loads of yum yum sauce. They’re all amazing! That’s all, bye now!)"
