"We enjoyed our experience in Keith Young?s Steakhouse. I made a last minute reservation by Open Table. We arrived a few minutes early and sat right away. Our waiter arrived shortly after and started running through the menu. Fresh hot bread was served while we looked at our first selections. The wine selection was really good. In particular, there is a wide range of red and whiskeys. For beginners we enjoyed the Calamari and the tomato soup. The soup was particularly interesting because it was not sour and had a nice roasted tomato taste. For entrees we had redfish, carved veal and crab meat au gratin. The redfish was very fresh. The crab and sauce complemented the fish well. The fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The crab and calf dishes were enjoyed. The proportion of veins was considerable. We added a page of roared tomatoes. They were bribed with Parmesan and Crustini crumbs, which were beautifully paired with the fish. For dessert we had bread pudding, raspberry sorbet and chocolate mousse. The sorbet had an incredibly intense raspberry taste very good. The bread pudding was decadent, and the mousse was sweet and creamy. The service was top notch. Our waiter was friendly and informative. The worrying staff ensured that our waters were always filled and that the table was unlimited. The owner walked around and met us when we were done, he was very nice and personal. The Maitre d? remembered wishing me a happy birthday when we stepped out what underlined the extraordinary attention to detail. This is definitely one of the best restaurants on the north coast."

"Giving this restaurant a three instead of a five really pains me as, growing up, it was my favorite place to eat. Unfortunately, our last trip there wasn 't up to where their usual standards used to be. This review is from Spring of '21. My main issue was with the staff and some confusing communication. I called to order takeout and explained that I had the promotional offer listed on their website. The women who took my order noted that and said to just bring the coupon on went I went to pick it up and they would take it off the bill. When I went in to pick up the food and pay, I was told by the server and her supervisor that I could not use it on takeout. I showed her the coupon, which did not have any language whatsoever about only being for dine-in/days of the week/any type of restrictions, and I also mentioned that the person on the phone said it would be fine. They compromised and offered a lower percentage off, which I appreciate, but I was still left frustrated with the lack of communication. I understand the issues with staffing and prices due to Covid, but perhaps remove any offers if you 're just going to say you are unable to honor them. Speaking about the food, I ordered the steak, and it was still as good as I remember. Juicy and fully of flavor and the baked potato was delicious. My mom ordered the broiled seafood melody and said the lobster sauce should have come in a bucket because it was so good but that the seafood was just okay. I do think that that 's a meal that is most likely not as good for takeout as it would be if we ordered dine-in. This was before the salad bar had come back and we realized that the salad bar has really been carrying the experience for us over the past 20+ years. I 'd go back with the salad bar to give them another chance just since I have had so many great meals here, but I 'm not totally optimistic that it will be as good as it once was."

"Service is terrible—this is the second time that we tried to go to Andiamo in Bloomfield and they disappointed us AGAIN. We are frequent diners to Andiamo Riverfront in Detroit and wanted to dine outdoors and decided to try Bloomfield The first time we made a reservation and when we arrived there, everything was closed snd we called. The manager answered and told us that “ the power went down” and the staff called everyone who had reservations to let them know. I indicated that we did not receive a call and how we had driven from the city specifically to dine here. His response was “ yes, well.. I lost thousands of dollars in orders tonight, so imagine how I feel” The next time was last week when we set up a reservation with a note in the reservation indicating ‘outdoor. We arrived to what appeared to be an empty outdoor patio. We checked in at the front and indicated we had reservations for outdoor patio only. Puzzled look and “Oh.. we’re not seating outdoors today”. I respond, but we specifically indicated in our reservation that we ONLY wanted outdoors. The response in a cavalier way) “Oh.. we don’t read all of that”, but I can seat you inside if you like.” I explained that this was the second time that a mishap with our reservation has occurred. She shrugged her shoulders in an “ oh well “ manner, and we left. We immediately saw our OpenTable reservation cancelled and we are still waiting for a call from management. We are probably not going to get a response from management, but thought it was important for others to know when making a reservation"
