"I had dinner there with my family after receiving rave reviews of the restaurant. Our server was very nice, but marginally incompetent. He didn't know many details about the menu when asked for details. One of the starters was served without any of the 3 ingredients (olives with canned citrus and fried parsley - served without the fried parsley - not the waiter's fault). The waiter presented the special as an appetizer, but it was actually an appetizer. My main course (or should I say "starter") was served about 5 minutes after the rest of my table had already served their main courses. I was able to order another main course when it was clear that I had ordered an appetizer, but by then the rest of the table was done with the main course. The rest of the people at my table enjoyed the food and the beers were delicious, but overall my experience was not great."

"This establishment treats you like a criminal as soon as you enter the building! We had a party of four for dinner we got to the restaurant early sat at the bar for a bottle of wine before dinner. They took our credit card before they would serve you! If they got that kind of bombs visiting that place, they should hire security when I brought this to the managers attention he likened the policy and procedure to Twin Peaks. “ stating when I go to Twin Peaks they take my credit card when I sit at the bar.” I didn't believe Oceanaire was comparable to Twin Peaks. Now I know from their management staff. JZ"

When many are entertaining guests at steak houses, Oceanaire provides a mix of great steak/meat entrees while also making this Florida boy feel at home with what came off as an amazing list of seafood options that tasted as if they were right off the boat. Two nights here during a week long conference and I’m truly happy I made that decision. My go-to when traveling to Indianapolis"

"We were very excited to go back and visit this restaurant as we had tried it on another visit to Miami when it had first opened years ago. The memory we had in our minds was that it had great food and a lively ambiance. This time, the service was so pathetic I cannot begin to start. We had an early reservation, 700pm, b/c we had brought three young kids along. Shocked to see the restaurant was very empty for a Friday night. We sat immediately, and they claimed we would have two servers that would take great care of us, as we were a party of 8. The food took so long, they finally served us at 845 after I had to get up two times to ask if someone could find our waiter who had been MIA most of the night and the second server I never even met. The manager became aware of our delay and made little effort to help us. He could have come over to apologize for their delay and even offer the poor kids a dessert, no? I would have hated to see how they function with a full restaurant. Luckily the food was flawless so the chef gets a great score from us! 5 Stars! But I forgot how overpriced it is, 15 dollars a claw? What? We finally left at 940pm. The experience too long for us! Such a shame the service was so pitiful as the place has serious potential if they could iron out this issue."
