"I have been to this restaurant and loved it each time, until tonight. I took my wife for Valentine’s Day and was surprised at the quality of the food. Normally the food is prepared well and quite wonderful, but tonight it was a different story. The calamari was undercooked, the romaine salad was drenched in salad dressing, the sea bass was overcooked. I wondered if Chef Abu was out for the evening and it was a little experienced line chef in charge of the food, but no Chef Abu was present. This was the first time that I have had a disappointing dinner at The Farmer’s Daughter. I suppose anyone can have a bad night, so hopefully this was that one bad night."
