"Excellent ! We loved the food and drinks! Innovative and interesting menu and the dishes are as tasty as they sound. Four of us shared a sampler starter plate, mantoo, a vegetarian plate and beef kofta kabob with saffron rice. The portions were plentiful but not huge and had distinctive, balanced flavors. We will be back!"

"1-star for their general Tso's chicken. I've been here since the late 90's early 2000's and now I've come full circle back here again. This place really sucks. Based on just their staple dish the General Tso's chicken, it is just terrible. Chicken that their sous chef won't even cut up measuring nearly 4 a piece. Then you have BATTER that is not fully fried. Rush job for an over the phone order placed 15 minutes prior to pickup and still having to wait when arrived at restaurant is just not acceptable. $16.95 for this? The flavor is bland and missing vinegar and overall it was a terrible dish that I cannot even eat because the batter was uncooked. The pictures speak for itself. This place use to be 5-star food but now it has sunken to a new low. The chef doesn't care and it shows. At least avoid the general tso's chicken. Food was ordered jan 19, 2022 a little after 1pm."

"The Chinese fast food here is excellent. I had the roast pork for lunch and really enjoyed it. The sauce was light and flavorful, and the balance of pork to vegetables was just right. A family of five dined for around $25, excluding drinks. Highly recommended!"

"Cannot speak to the sushi, as I don’t often get it except for high end stuff on special occasions, but teriyaki is my s#%t. In a region with hundreds of teriyaki restaurants, this one definitely stands above its competitors. Compared to most of the hole in the wall teriyaki spots, this one is better in numerous ways: -Portions are generally excellent, very generous, and the price being about average makes that extra true. -tons of easy nearby parking, and it’s right off the highway -friendly staff, and a much larger and nicer dining room than most places like this -Very large and flexible menu, that they execute on very well—they also have one of the biggest selections of bottled/canned beverages I’ve seen. Altogether highly recommend you try this spot, just about every everything about it is well above average, except for the price!"

"Happy Teriyaki Dupont is a nice restaurant with delicious food. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and it was mouth watering. They also serve Sushi, but I didn't try it this time. The service was superb with very friendly staff and the food was ready quickly. The menu includes a wide range of dishes and I will be coming back here to try out something new. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in Dupont, Steilacoom, or Joint Base Lewis McChord. Its conveniently located right off I-5 exit 119."

"Ordered the breaded almond chicken. The sauce was just miso paste mixed with some chicken gravy. It was super watery and bland. Not too mention it was literally pieces of chicken with almonds sprinkled on top. I can see why they have no pictures of this item anywhere, but now people will actually know what they 're getting. None of the ingredients are listed for any menu item so if you have an allergy, you 'll have to make sure it 's not in what you 're ordering. They use canned mushrooms and canned baby corn in their yakisoba, which both have a weird texture. Thankfully the Boba and sesame chicken were decent. I used to go often but since it seems to be under new management and they 've added an Indian menu, the rest of the cuisine has gone down hill. The sushi is still on point but needless to say we won 't be coming back."

"I found their prices to be somewhat high for Covington, about thirty percent more than other places. Aside from that, the pho was comparable to what you can find in the area. The service was quite quick. However, I won't be returning because I need to be mindful of my spending."

"Arrived in the late afternoon for dinner. Not terribly busy, opted to go eat at the shaded outdoor patio. Service was fast and staff was friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. Tried fried the bahn mi sliders and fried spring rolls. Main course was Drunken Noodles with beef and Chicken Pad Thai. The Drunken Noodles were appropriately spicy and the Pad Thai was excellent with a wonderful appearance. Portion size was just right so you might not have leftovers but still have space for dessert. Finished the night with Mango Sticky Rice and a few drinks, a lychee-tini and a Mango- mimosa style drink Price was fair for the quality of the meal, wouldn't certainly call this a place to grab a cheap meal but the food was world class. Would definitely recommend going again."

"The food was great, fresh, hot, good flavor. The service was horrible and so was sitting next to all of the teenagers on the other side of the wall. It felt and sounded like we were sitting in a high school cafeteria. 4-5 teenage boy and girls (some were workers, the others were in regular street clothes) had a rubber ball that they were throwing around at each other and bouncing, all of this being done right outside the kitchen door while 3 other waitresses were walking around doing their job. Our waitress was one of the ones in the group that was playing around. We had to ask for drink refills and tried for a few minutes to get her attention for to-go boxes but were unsuccessful, so we just waited for her to come back. They were loud and distracting. We watched a few people approach the counter to pay and as 1 of the teenagers went to take their payment, 4 other teenagers would follow and stand there laughing and talking as the person paid. Unprofessional and unpleasant. I've been going to South China for 15 years and this was the first time the restaurant felt like a loud highschool. I'll try it again but won't return if it can't feel like a nice place to go relax and eat dinner."

"We held a birthday dinner in the restaurant. It is child friendly. Chef put on a nice display cooking the various dishes at our table. Knives flashed and shrimp flew. Everything was very tasty. The meal was not hurried. Children left satisfied and happy. Food items were on the pricey side, but the meals come with salad, rice and dessert. This was our second visit. We will go back."

"We ordered the Kalua pig, which was quite salty but packed with flavor. The rice was alright. We opted out of the macaroni salad, so I can't speak to that. We did get the dish with cabbage, but the menu made it a bit tricky to order. I wish there were more vegetable options to pair with the meat and rice. Overall, the atmosphere felt very authentic. The food quality was great for the price. If it had been 20 degrees warmer and there were chickens roaming around, I would have felt like I was back in Kauai."
