"Additionally, when I ordered the salmon, it was supposed to come with a "fresh fruit salsa." I specifically asked the server for just salt, pepper, and maybe a little spice on the salmon, and he responded, "We have no spices here; you’ll have to go somewhere else for that." I thought to myself, “I don’t think asking for basic seasoning should be a difficult request.” I ordered the salmon medium, and the server simply said, “They all come out mediocre.”
When my salmon arrived, it was cooked medium as I requested. It was decent, but not my first choice. The salads were good, and overall, the rest of the food was enjoyable. Despite the service issues, we had a lovely time. If the service had been better, it could have been an even better experience. I gave the restaurant 4 stars because the food was good, not because of the service. It was also quite loud, but given that it was New Year's Eve, that was to be expected."
