"I have always driven by this pizza location. I have been told by many friends that they have solid pizza and I need to check them out. The name is Garibaldi's in Hoffman Estates. There are two locations for Garibaldi's. The first is in Arlington Heights and the second is in Hoffman Estates. I chose to go to the Hoffman Estates location to do this review of their pizza. The moment that you walk in it has a vibe like a 50s diner. The menu has so many items on it, such as Italian beef, burgers, hotdogs, and more. They are not only known just for pizza. It was lunchtime when I arrived at the location. The lunch rush was pretty busy. Many of the people that were ordering seemed like regulars. I asked to do a slice of sausage and pepperoni to try both to give a thorough review. I waited about 10 minutes for my slices to be ready. I am not sure if they were made to order or if they were premade. I will say both the slices were huge. I first tried the sausage slice. The crust was very crunchy. The dough did not have a lot of flavor, but I did like the texture. There was a ton of cheese which was good. The sauce also had a forgettable flavor. The sausage tasted like mediocre sausage. My best evaluation would be it tasted very much like Home Run pizza. The pepperoni had better flavor, but was extremely greasy, which was to be expected. The cheese immediately sloughed off and became a pile of cheese mess. The flavor of the pepperoni pizza, like I said, was better than the sausage. I do not think I would make an effort to order from here if I lived in the area. The pizza was just average at best. I may come back to Garibaldi's and try their other items on their menu."

"Pizza Guys is an excellent spot to order pizza. I placed my order through Grubhub, and it took about 45 minutes for delivery, which is perfectly acceptable to me since I usually wait around 20 minutes for a Hot & Ready pizza. It seems like they make it fresh as you order, which I appreciate. I’ve tried several pizza places in Hayward, including Little Caesars, The Pizza Place, Pizza Hut, NY Pizza, and Papa John’s, but Pizza Guys truly exceeded my expectations for pizza in Northern California. I used to think that Southern California, especially San Diego, offered the best pizza on the West Coast, even from the franchises I mentioned. In SoCal, I found those chains to serve better pizza than what is available here. However, discovering Pizza Guys has shown me that you really have to explore different options until you find the spot that satisfies you, and for me, that place is Pizza Guys! I love their Hawaiian pizza, which is the only one I've tried so far, but I’m definitely planning to order again and try their other varieties. The dough is well-prepared; it doesn’t toughen up easily as it cools and has a delightful crisp and chewy texture. The toppings are plentiful and seem very fresh. The sauce is just right—not too thick, which I particularly dislike about many pizzas that tend to skimp on toppings. What I received from Pizza Guys was fantastic! The only downside to pizzas in Northern California, including Pizza Guys, is the price. My medium Hawaiian pizza cost $19.99. In Southern California, I could get similar pizzas for around $7 from Little Caesars and $11 from Papa John’s. I really think they need to consider lowering their prices a bit."
