"Raised in Texas, BBQ is a passion and hobby of mine, so I was excited to try their brisket and pork. Both were good and their homemade sauce was a great kick in the pants! The chili was tasty also but was lacking a smoked BBQ twist, in my opinion. Awesome to have good beer on tap too! I was a little bummed though, that the brisket wasn 't cooked to proper length for true brisket tenderness. Instead, they cheated in BBQ world, and sliced it super thin like roast beef so that it wasn 't tough. Maybe it was an off day for the chef? It had great flavor though. Great atmosphere. Great service. Great menu...good food, ok prices. I will definitely try them again. And I would love to hear any feedback from the chef about my experience."
