"If you find yourself in downtown Beaufort, make sure to visit Q on the Bay. It was my first experience at this restaurant, but as a local, I'll definitely return the next time I'm back home. I tried the wings and fries, and I must say, the wings are smoked before being fried, giving them a wonderful flavor. The fries were fantastic as well. My wife ordered a seafood platter that included fish, shrimp, and fries. While she thought the fish was a bit too fresh for her taste, she still enjoyed the meal overall, which is expected in Beaufort. The only reason I’m giving this place four stars instead of five is that there was a shift change during our visit, causing a slight delay as the servers got organized. At times, we had three different servers attending to our table. Don’t get me wrong, the customer service was good, but there was just a bit of confusion at the start.
