"They offer lemonade, fruit punch, and iced tea for $2, and when I asked if they made it themselves, I was told yes. However, when we tasted it, it turned out to be just powdered flavored water. I had expected something homemade, but I suppose for $2, that wasn't realistic. We ordered the "Great Catch" for $40, which includes shrimp, fish, chicken wings, and lobster, along with two sides. Unfortunately, they were out of lobster and offered to double the fish and shrimp instead. I requested the shrimp to be sautéed, and they said it would take about 25 minutes. After waiting 40 minutes, we finally received our food. We took it home, which is a 30-minute drive, and the order included 3 pieces of fish, 7 shrimp, a handful of fries, and some broccoli, but no chicken wings. To my disappointment, the fish was hard as a rock, overly salty, and some pieces even smelled off. The shrimp, which I had asked to be sautéed, were fried instead and also excessively salty. The broccoli was decent, but it would have been nice to have more. The fries were bland, which was surprising given the over-seasoning of everything else. They were greasy and there weren't many, either. Compared to other seafood places in the area, this one falls short. For example, Surf City in Jersey City offers a fried fish platter for $33 that includes 4 pieces of cod, around 10 shrimp, calamari, and plenty of fries, all of which are tastier and a better value. Disappointed, I called the restaurant to mention they had forgotten the chicken wings. At that time, I hadn't tried the fish, so I didn't mention it was bad. The staff member assured me they would credit some money back to my card. However, a few days later, the charge went through, and I received no credit. After reading through more reviews, I noticed that others have also mentioned missing items, such as mac and cheese. If you decide to eat here, I highly recommend checking to ensure they pack everything correctly."

"We placed an online order with specified pickup timeand arrived at the restaurant. I received a text message stating to reply with my space number and my order is being prepared and would be delivered to my vehicle. 10-15 minutes passed the time window of when my food would be ready and I called the restaurant to see the status of my order. The girl answering the phone said that texting program doesn 't work because the restaurant doesn 't have wifi... No apology. We received our order, brought it home to eat and were shorted add on ribs (about $20 worth). I immediately called and told them the situation and the girl 's solution was, Oh, do you want to come back and get them or do you want them next time you come? I told her we are sitting down ready to eat and I would prefer to just receive a refund. She said her manager would have to do that and we should see it reflected on our method of payment in the next 24 hours. I asked specifically for some sort of confirmation, whether an email or text that we will be refunded, but she said we 'll receive that after her manager processed the refund for the add on. We gave them 48 hours and still did not receive the refund. My wife had to call and finally receive the refund almost a week later. The food here is good. The service is terrible. If you know certain systems aren 't working for online orders, turn them off so your customers don 't get misled that they are being properly served, when they aren 't."

"First of all, to their credit, All Sports Cafe has the best wings in Roanoke. Period. However, the service is absolutely atrocious and I refuse to pay to be treated like I'm being done a favor. Tonight, I place a to go order. I arrive to pick it up and walk in and stand at the bar. A waitress, who clearly doesn't want to be there, says name! I tell her the name of the order, and instead of grabbing my order (which I see is bagged and ready behind the counter) she proceeds to walk around the dining area making casual conversation with her regulars. After standing there for about minutes another waitress comes and asks me if I have been helped. I ask her for my order and she immediately grabs it and gives it to me. I pay, however, I mention that I've been standing there for minutes while my food had been resting behind the counter getting cold. She goes to talk to the original waitress, who storms back into the kitchen stating, that f ing guy hasn't been here minutes I complain to the second waitress, who apologized and said they are in the middle of a shift change. I never complain about anything, and I've never asked to speak to a manager in my life, but, in true Karen' fashion, I ask to speak to her boss. The manager comes out after a several minute wait. I explain to her the situation. I explain to her that I am a small business owner too and that I understand how Covid has added stress to us all, but that a customer should not be treated that way. She says she can remake the food, but that is her only option. I kindly return the order and ask for a refund, which is completed after about another minute wait. Again, All Sports has the best wings in our area, but it's not worth the torture of dealing with their staff. Very displeased and will never grace their doorstep again."
