"I ordered the Pasta with Steak and Shrimp, and it didn't resemble the picture at all—what a surprise! The pasta was clumped together, hard, and completely lacked seasoning. I requested the steak to be cooked medium, but it came out well-done and tasted like it had been microwaved. The shrimp were unceremoniously tossed in the box and were overcooked as well. For $23, this meal was definitely not worth it.
It seems these restaurants have a pretty good scam going—providing less quality and quantity for outrageous prices. To make matters worse, my prime rib sandwich didn’t include the Au Jus, and the onion blossom was disappointing; it was overly greasy with no crust, and the breading fell off every time I tried to pick one up. The outer onion was practically inedible due to the excess oil.
The only decent item was the mac and cheese, but even that wasn't worth the $5.99 price tag. I tipped 20% for curbside service, but I will not be returning to Outback, and I’ve deleted their app from my phone. I always try to give places another chance, but they missed the mark again—and even worse this time. I doubt the corporation cares about my review or whether I come back; they'll continue to make their money regardless. I spent $60, plus a $12 tip, for food that wasn’t even worth $40.
