"I've been here half a dozen times. The food is good and the menu options are plentiful. The vibe is great and I love the music they play. Service always starts out great and then somewhere in the middle it drops. Every single time. I've had different servers who are pleasant, but the follow through needs some work. The bar makes a good drink, but they are slow. When you order your first drink get another one immediately. I have had to wait for a second and third drink ridiculously long periods of time. So much so that I had to send my husband to the bar to see if the order had been put in when server was nowhere to be found. I came in recently and had dinner and cocktails with my husband. I ordered 3 g&t's with a little simple syrup, mint and cucumber garnish. Each drink that came the glass was smaller and smaller. I had to line 3 glasses of varying sizes to show the server before we left, to which he said the bar is busy. Maybe so, but what does that have to do with the size of the glass? And I had to wait a long time in between cocktails. Not okay. I'm out for the night before going to the Greek. I am ready to have a good time. This put a damper on the vibe I was going for. I am seeing more and more inconsistencies every time I come. I got the tuna tartare and the tuna to avocado ratio was way off. There was the thinnest topping of tuna that was gone in a few bites. If I wanted Guacamole and chips only, I would have ordered it. I want to like this place, but after the most recent trip, I'm not feeling the love."

"So disappointing. To begin with I had to walk around the restaurant to find a chair that wasn’t falling in. The chairs are very worn wicker. I felt like I was sitting in a hole that was going to break through at any minute because it was so torn. Most of the chairs were in that condition. Finally found one that I felt comfortable in. My husband and I both ordered appetizers. I had the scallops and gnocchi with a very heavy cream sauce that had no taste. The scallops were not seared or seasoned properly and were slightly undercooked . Had to ask for salt and pepper because there wasn’t any on the table. My husband had the mussels, and he said that they were just OK. Didn’t really like the tomato broth, and they were served with bread. When asked we were told they didn’t have any bread. They were also out of the conch fritters which was my husband’s first choice of appetizer. For our meals my husband had the grilled pork chop and “truffle” mashed potatoes. He said the potatoes were instant mashed potatoes. What the heck? I had the chicken parm with what was supposed to be fresh mozzarella. It was not. The chicken patty tasted like a pre-breaded patty and the marinara had no flavor. Overall the food was very under seasoned and bland. For the price of this meal we were extremely disappointed and will not be back. We were there for my husband’s birthday which we indicated on the reservation, but no mention was made of it. He was excited to have the fried snapper which we have had there every other time we have been, but for some reason it isn’t on their current menu. Don’t waste your time or money. We should have gotten a clue when there was only one other table occupied the entire time we were there."

"I never leave poor reviews considering I worked in customer service for 10+ years and am a business owner myself, but the two experiences I 've had here left me speechless. My first experience was less than a year ago, I placed an order over the phone to have a cake made. I really wanted to support locally. I placed my order a month in advance, and asked to have something written on the cake for my grandsons birthday. I was told I must pay over the phone, which was no problem. When I picked up the cake, I was greeted by a sweet young lady at the register. She handed me my cake and I was on my way out. I opened the box to make sure everything looked right. There was no writing on the cake, so I went back in. The young lady approached the owner about the incident. The owner said to her with an attitude you can do it because I 'm busy . Mind you, I could see/hear everything because it is an open kitchen behind the register. The young lady then came back to me and looked so nervous, she told me I 'm sorry but my boss won 't do it right now and I don 't want to write on it myself because I 've never done that before . I politely told her it was okay and not to worry, because it isn 't her job to do it. I left and never returned until a couple days ago. I gave the owner the benefit of the doubt, and decided to give it another try. I loved the food, but the owner is rude and so are the other employees. It 's sad to see such talent ruined by a poor attitude. I ordered a month in advance, and paid for a cake with writing. Simple right? To put the pressure on a teenage girl and to not care about your customers who PAY for your service, is not a good business owner."
