"If you're looking for a barbecue joint in Oklahoma City, you might find yourself at Clark Crew BBQ. I recently visited this spot with high expectations, and while my experience was mixed, there were notable highlights. One of the first things that struck me was the ambiance. With a lively atmosphere and good country music playing, it felt like the quintessential BBQ place. The staff also deserves a special mention. Our waiter was exceptionally attentive, ensuring we never ran out of beverages and displaying remarkable patience with our group. However, the food left something to be desired. I ordered the brisket sandwich, and while the BBQ sauce was flavorful, the bread was over-toasted, which detracted from the overall taste. Additionally, the portion size seemed small compared to other BBQ places I've visited. The most disappointing aspect was the brisket itself. The flavor was bland, lacking the rich smokiness I typically associate with good barbecue. Considering the reputation of Clark Crew BBQ, this was a letdown. That being said, given the other choices in the area, Clark Crew BBQ still manages to hold its own. It's not the best BBQ I've had, but it's decent enough if you're in the area and craving some barbecue.Clark Crew BBQ offers a mixed bag. While the service and ambiance are top-notch, the food could use some improvement. I'm hopeful that they will take these criticisms on board and continue to refine their offerings."
